"Cwmfynnon RFC have ordered sixty fleeces!"
At Awyr Iach, Jason is pleased to see the orders picking up;  “Oakstore want a stock of clothes, and Cwmfynnon RFC have ordered sixty fleeces!”
"It's not healthy, being in front of that computer"
Diane warns Sara that she should not overdo things, and that more hours in front of the computer are not healthy.   Jason is going to look for some Beanie hat templates which Sara left at home,
Sara cannot wait to get away
but she decides to go too, in order to get away from Diane.
"The way she's accepting the news about the baby"
“Sara’s coping very well,” remarks Anita, “The way she’s accepting the news about the baby.”   Diane glowers at her, not having realised that the news was out.
Eileen wants nothing to do with Ed
When Eileen visits Sioned, she totally ignores Ed, so he goes out.
"Don't let him fool you"
“I can’t stop worrying about you,” says Eileen, “I didn’t sleep a wink last night.”   Sioned tells her that Ed is trying to come to terms with what he did, and regrets it.   “Don’t let him fool you – he’s got a history of violence with those steroids,” warns Eileen,
"It was just a moment of madness"
but Sioned dismisses it as a moment of madness and nothing more.
They search for the missing document
Back at number 9, Sara is searching for the document
"Oh, no – it's her again!"
when Diane arrives,
"I thought you weren't going to tell anyone"
and announces, “I thought you weren’t going to tell anyone about the baby, until we’d discussed how and when to break the news.”
"Well, everyone knows now!"
Sara replies that everyone knows now, and Diane snarls, “You gave me an ultimatum!”
"No, it was simply a choice, Mam!"
Jason points out that it was simply a choice,
"It was easier than talking to you!"
and Sara angrily adds, “It was a lot easier telling a roomful of people than talking to you!”
Tea break for 'White and Father', plumbers
Taking a tea break during their job at Maes-y-Deri,
"Where does Gwyneth think you are?"
Iolo asks his father where Gwyneth thinks he is;  “At County Hall, meeting with an old councillor friend, talking about translation,” is the reply, “A odd white lie keeps the wheels of life turning!”
Iolo is rather tickled by the term ‘White’ lie, and asks if Gwyneth is completely straight with him.   “She moved back into Y Felin and got you to look after her – you can’t do what you want.   How much control has she got over you?”
"I'm not stupid – I'm here, aren't I?"
Siôn smiles, “I’m not stupid – I’m here, aren’t I?   If I want to do some plumbing work with you, I shall do it!”
The counselling leaflet
Then Siôn finds a leaflet about grief counselling, with Courtney’s name written multiple times on it.
"You have no right to be in here!"
As Iolo is looking at the leaflet, Ricky arrives home unexpectedly early;  “What are you doing?   You have no right to be in here!”
"This was a surprise for you"
Iolo points out they are doing the job as a surprise for him, but Ricky exclaims,
"Give that back, and get out!"
“You’re not – you’re going through my stuff!   Give that back, and get out!”
Mark calls at the café and tells Debbie, “Ricky will be home soon – I can’t wait to see his face when he sees the work that Iolo has done.”
"Stop being so nosy!"
Eileen comes downstairs in tears, and when Debbie ask if she is all right, is told to stop being nosy.
"It's to do with them up there!"
“It must be something to do with them upstairs!” comments Debbie.
Once outside, Eileen phones Jim;  “Dinner will be ready in half an hour.   Sioned did not feel like talking – well, you raised it, about Ed and Courtney’s baby.”
Debbie and Mark overhear the conversation
Debbie has just come out of the shop with her advertising sign;  she and Mark hear what Eileen said.
"All the rooms are done, except yours"
Iolo reports to Ricky that all the bedrooms are now completed, except his,
"I don't want any radiator!"
but he is adamant that he does not want the radiator.
"We'll come back tomorrow"
Mark comes home, and Ricky tells him that Iolo and Siôn were going through his things;  they agree they will come back tomorrow.
"Did you write on this?"
Mark sees the grief counselling leaflet and asks, “Did you write on this?   I didn’t realise you were such close friends.
"Imagine how Ed must be feeling!"
“Grief is a terrible thing – I can’t imagine how bad Ed must be feeling!”   Ricky wonders what it has to do with Ed.
"Ed was the father of Courtney's baby"
Mark says, “You probably know, don’t you?   Ed was the father of Courtney’s baby – that’s what everyone is saying.”
"No, he wasn't – it was me!"
“No, he wasn’t!” insists Ricky, “He’s not the father – I know!”   After further prompting from Mark, he adds, “It was me!   I’m the baby’s father!”
"I'm not going to be angry with you"
He retires to his room, where Mark joins him, emphasising, “I just want to talk, OK?   I’m not going to be angry with you.   How can you be sure you’re the father and not Ed?”
"She loved me, Dad!"
He sighs, “She’d only slept with me – she loved me, Dad!   There was no-one else, honest.”   Mark assumes that the baby was not planned, and Ricky recalls that they were so happy.
"I lost someone once like that"
Mark assures him that he could have been there for Ricky, who must have felt so lonely, not being able to talk to anyone.   He lost someone once, Sharon, and found it the hardest thing he had to go through;
"Nothing makes sense"
“Nothing makes sense when you’re young and lose someone just like that.   Remember that I’m here for you, OK?”
Jason has had enough of this already
Diane is still demanding, “Why wasn’t I told that the news was public, while Vicky, Dol, Mark and everyone else knew?   You shouldn’t have made that announcement!”
“Why?” demands Sara, “So I’d have more time to think about having the baby?
"You don't want us to have this baby!"
“This is not about me telling the staff – you don’t want us to have this Down’s Syndrome baby!”
"You're making things hard, Mam!"
Jason interrupts with, “You’re making things hard, Mam – you’ve been awkward ever since we shared the news with you.   It’s pretty obvious you don’t agree with our decision – so what’s the point of keeping you in the loop?”
Off goes Diane in high dudgeon
Diane storms out of the house.
Debbie asks questions
Debbie goes upstairs to collect the rent and enquires if everything is all right, as she saw Eileen in a bit of a state.   “I heard her on the phone outside, talking about Ed – it must be a terrible time for you!
"If Mark had been messing around with a schoolgirl!"
“I’d feel the same if Mark had been messing around with a schoolgirl!”
"Get out, and don't spread gossip!"
Sioned shouts at her to get out and warns her not to spread gossip.
"Motormouth thinks something is going on!"
When Ed comes in, she tells him, “Debs heard Mam on the phone talking about you and Courtney – now Motormouth thinks something is going on!   Things are spiralling out of control!”
“Well, it’s you and your family creating the problems, not me!” he answers
"Do you think I like lying to Mam?"
Sioned demands whether he thinks she likes lying to her Mam about something which did not happen,
"For once, Sioned, just shut up!"
but he says, “For once, Sioned, just shut up!”
"You ought to tell the truth"
Mark reminds Ricky that two men have been wrongly accused – Eifion and now Ed, so he ought to tell Eileen or Jim the truth.   “I don’t care about them, or anyone else,” replies Ricky,
"Now she's gone, nothing else matters!"
“Only me and her were important, and now she’s gone, nothing else matters!   You always said I can trust you, and I told Courtney I could talk to you, so please promise me that you won’t tell anyone.   I’ll tell Mam when I’m ready.”   Mark nods his agreement.
"Turn it down, Ed!"
Sioned instructs Ed to turn down the television, and warns him against saying anything to Debbie;  “I told her it’s absolute rubbish!   It’s better if you say nothing –
"You always know how to make things worse!"
“You always know how to make things worse!”
"Blame me for everything as usual!"
“Yes – blame me for everything, as usual!” he groans, “You think so little of me, don’t you?”
"The village will think even less of you"
She replies, “The rest of the village will think even less of you, now they think you got Courtney pregnant, and Mam and Jim think you hit your wife!”   He points out that they are both lies, and considers he deserves a little sympathy from her – and a lot more respect.
"When was the last time you said anything nice to me?"
“When was the last time you said anything nice to me?   When did you make me dinner or let me do something I enjoy doing?   It’s hard to remember, isn’t it?   I’m your husband – not a dishcloth you can treat as dirt.”   She makes no reply.
"I didn't react very positively"
Diane looks depressed in the Deri;  Anita brings her a drink and is told, “When Sara told me about the Down’s Syndrome, I didn’t react very positively.   I’ve always been used to thinking of things like that as bad news – that was the way I was raised.”
"I remember when Meic and I were in that position"
Anita remembers when she and Meic were in the same position, and discussed abortion when told their baby had Down’s, but they lost little Eira anyway.   Now she regrets even considering getting rid of her, and that is how Jason and Sara are feeling now.
"Aren't you concerned that Mam is worried sick?"
Sioned bewails the fact that her Mam is worried sick and will probably not sleep for months;  she asks if Ed is not concerned about that.
"Not at the moment, no!"
He replies, “Not at the moment, no!”
“You want things to go back to the way they were – normal,” she says, “When I didn’t ask you to change your behaviour all the while.”
"Yes, exactly!"
“Yes, exactly!” Ed replies, “And make sure your family understand that as well.   We have to convince them that things are all right, that we can be happy again.   I know I landed us in this situation, but we have to move on now.
"As long as you show you respect me"
“I’ll show you I can be a good husband again, as long as you show you respect me.”
“You’ll get the respect you deserve,” she agrees,
"Come on, then"
and extends her arms to welcome him into her embrace.   As he approaches her, she unleashes a terrific punch to the side of his head,
Ed, after receiving a hefty wallop from Sioned
which sends him reeling backwards on to the sofa.
"That's the respect you deserve!"
Standing over him, she threatens, “That’s the respect you deserve!   If you forget that, I’ll have no choice but to do something much worse!”
