Iolo is not feeling very much better
The buttonholes arrive at Y Felin;  Iolo comes downstairs, after having been up half the night,
"It goes straight to voicemail!"
and tries to ring Tyler, but there is no reply.
"You're still alive then?"
Gwyneth is unsympathetic;  “You’re still alive then?” she says.
“No thanks to you,” Iolo replies,
"You've done it, then!"
“The person who threatened to ruin the wedding has gone and done it!”   He tells his father he could not face any toast,
"You could always postpone it"
and Siôn suggests that he could postpone the wedding, but Iolo is determined to go on.
"All right, Cadno, I'll be over in a minute"
Eifion receives a phone call, and tells Courtney he has to go to the farm, urgently, as Cadno has a crisis there.
"Sorry, there will be no time to take you out in the car"
“Going there and then having the party this afternoon, there will be no time to take you out in the car,” he says.
"This is my last chance to practise!"
This displeases Courtney, who wants to practise before her test tomorrow.   She alleges that she has free lessons today, so she is still in her dressing gown.
"I'm not going to school today"
When Eifion goes upstairs to change, Ricky arrives and is told that she is not going to school today;
"Say if I've done something wrong"
“Have I done something to upset you?” he asks, “You were off with me yesterday – say if I’ve done something wrong.”   She assures him that he has not, but she has something important to tell him.   “You want to finish with me?” he says, “I love you and want to be with you and no-one else!”
"I've got something to tell you later"
She asks him to come again at lunchtime, and gives him a key to let himself in.
Judging by the empty bottles . . .
It appears that Tyler and Dani drank more than intended last night,
. . . they must have drunk quite a bit
as they are both fast asleep on the sofa in the Deri flat.
"Let me give you a hand"
Gwyneth gives Iolo a hand with tying his cravat,
"You do believe me, don't you?"
and asks, “You do believe me about the food, don’t you?   I didn’t do anything to you –
He does not look as if he does
you must have an allergy or something”
"Your mother would have been proud of you"
The car has arrived, and Siôn tells Iolo, “Your mother would have been very proud of you, and glad you’re happy with Tyler.   That’s all that was important to her – that her boys were happy.”   Iolo remarks that he is trying to be happy, but would be happier if Tyler answered his phone;  Siôn anticipates, “He’ll be waiting for you at the registry office,”
A hug from his Dad
and they hug.
"I've got too much to do!"
Eifion and Eileen go to see Jim at APD, who insists that he is too busy to take Courtney on a driving lesson.
"I wasn't good enough before!"
“Why am I good enough to give her lessons, if I wasn’t before?” he demands, “Now there isn’t a better offer, I shall have to do, is it?”
"She's the only daughter you've got!"
Eileen angrily replies, “She’s your daughter – the only one you’ve got – you must be able to spare one hour.   Someone has to put pressure on you or nothing would happen!”   Jim grudgingly agrees to think about it.
"He's had second thoughts!"
At the registry office, Iolo is engaged in a full-scale panic;  “He’s had second thoughts – he’s half an hour late!   It’s obvious he doesn’t want to marry me!”
"Perhaps the car has broken down"
Siôn imagines that the car may have broken down, and there is no mobile reception.
"Excuse me – I've got to go!"
Then Iolo has to rush off once more to the toilet.
At last they have turned up . . .
At that moment, Tyler and Dani arrive, making their excuses that Tyler’s phone battery was flat.
. . . much to Iolo's relief
Iolo returns and looks more composed when he sees Tyler.
This must be the happiest he has looked for months
“The black eye has gone,” Iolo says in amazement – Dani’s skills having proved successful.   They all go into the marriage room.
The ceremony continues
A few minutes later, the ceremony is over, and the happy couple are congratulated by the guests, with applause and hugs all round.
"Weddings always get me!"
Gwyneth remarks to Siôn, “Weddings always get me!” and Dani admits that she wanted to cry, but it would spoil her makeup.
"That could have been us!"
Colin jokes to Britt, “That could have been us!” but she expresses the hope that he has no such aspirations.
"I hear you're in a bit of a pickle"
“I hear you’re in a bit of a pickle,” Jim tells Courtney, “As Eifion can’t take you out, I thought I’d offer my services.   I’m happy to help – I want you to pass this test – as I paid for it!”
"You don't want to lose your money!"
“That’s why you’re here – you don’t want to lose your money!” answers Courtney, “Matilda’s round the back.”
The street party is about to begin
We are treated to a drone’s-eye view of the high street,
Gwen takes some photos
as a crowd near the Deri welcomes the happy couple.   Iolo is now much more relaxed, as he addresses Tyler as, “Mr Davies-White.”
Matilda speeds along
Out in the countryside, Matilda is speeding along,
"I don't know how you hope to pass this test!"
as Jim exclaims, “Use your mirrors – you didn’t see that car!   What has Eifion been teaching you?   I don’t know how you hope to pass this test!”
"Either bite your tongue or walk home!"
Courtney advises him that shouting and stressing her will not help, but only puts her off;  “Either bite your tongue or walk home!” she snaps.
They praise Eileen's culinary expertise
Iolo and Tyler thank Eileen for making the cake,
"Everyone needs a toaster"
and then are presented with a toaster by Mark, still with the £5.99 sticker on it,
"Complete with crumbs!"
and containing crumbs.   “It’s his old one!” laughs Iolo.
Gwen congratulates Iolo
Gwen comes over to give Iolo a hug.
"Gwyneth has obviously not got to hear yet"
Ed looks across the road and tells Sioned that Gwyneth obviously does not know anything,
"Was Courtney at school today?"
then Sioned asks Ricky whether Courtney was at school today.
The clinic have said that Sheryl is fine
Sheryl has just returned from her clinic appointment, reassuring Hywel that she has been given a clean bill of health.
"I'm sorry – it was just nerves"
Iolo apologises to Gwyneth for his accusation, and now realises that his problems were simply nerves;
It is always difficult to know whether Gwyneth means it
she in turn expresses regret for threatening him.
Sara's baby's first bib
Vicky give Sara a baby’s bib which she has made, embroidered “BABI FRANCIS.”
Courtney seems to be disregarding the signs
Courtney drives past a 30mph sign;
"Stick to the speed limit!"
“Stick to the speed limit – you don’t want to see blue lights behind you!” Jim insists, then realises she has gone past the turning.
"I need to go somewhere"
“I need to go somewhere,” she tells him, but will not say where, and he again urges her to slow down.
Siôn's oration in praise of Iolo and Tyler
Siôn gives a speech, praising Iolo and Tyler;
He seems to have more faith than most people
“I have every confidence that you will make this marriage work,” he says, and proposes a toast.
"True love never runs smooth"
Then Colin gets up to have his say;  “True love never runs smooth – and that couldn’t be more true about these two – I’ve been there from the start!”
Dai does not find Colin very hilarious . . .
While certain people laugh at his jokes, others, notably Dai
. . . and neither does Ed
and Ed, look distinctly unamused.
Ricky lets himself into Courtney’s house;  he is carrying a bunch of red roses.
"Stop this car – now!"
Jim orders Courtney to stop the car now,
"I can't!   Ed is . . ."
but she insists, “I can’t!   Ed is . . .”
Diane discovers Sara with a glass of champagne and reprimands her for drinking while pregnant.   “It’s only half a glass for the toast,” protests Sara,
"You have to stick your nose in everything, don't you?"
“You have to stick your nose in everything, don’t you?” and swigs down the rest.   She walks towards the Deri.
“They’ve closed the road, Courtney, brake now!” shouts Jim,
Not ideal driving footwear
but the flip-flop on Courtney’s foot slips from the pedal.
Straight through the barrier . . .
The car squeals round the corner, demolishing the red and white barrier.
. . . and Sara goes flying . . .
It hits Sara, who is flung across a table and on to the road.
. . . as the horrified villagers watch the drama unfold
 As the horrified villagers watch,
Matilda smashes into the scaffolding
the car then smashes through another table and ends up embedded in the scaffolding around the Antur.
Jason goes to Sara
Jason runs to Sara, who is lying motionless.
Shocked, but apparently generally unscathed
Inside the car, both Jim and Courtney seem to have escaped serious injury, although blood is coming from her nose.
Then Courtney sees . . .
But then she looks up, and sees with horror a loose scaffold pole, which is hurtling down towards the car;
. . . a pole heading straight for her
it embeds itself in Matilda’s windscreen.
Ricky hears the anguished shout
Waiting inside her house, Ricky hears the crash and Eifion’s desperate cry, “Courtney!”
Villagers run to the car
Villagers run towards the car.
