Stacey tells Mark she has just had an e-mail offering a job; “It’s from the HR department of the Hartley Paige Hotels – their manager at Kensington has left, and they are offering me the job! I get on well with one of the directors, and they want someone immediately!”

| "But I'm not going to accept it" |
Mark is pleased for her, but she insists she will not accept it, as she is happy working at CwmFM and being in Cwmderi with her brother.

| "Hywel might not want you" |
He warns, “Now Hywel is not leaving, he might not need you.”

| "Well, he didn't go after Sheryl" |
She is of the opinion that as he did not go after Sheryl, perhaps he does not love her as much as he thought.

| "It's a bit hot in here!" |
Meanwhile, Hywel is finding it rather warm in the flat; Sheryl wants to make sure that Esther does not get chilled.

| "Can't you take the day off?" |
He is about to go to work, but she pleads, “Can’t you take the day off? I’d like us to introduce Esther to the village – the sooner everyone gets used to her, the better” Hywel would prefer it if he got used to the idea first, but agrees with her.

| Garry is absolutely furious |
Chester is at Garry’s flat, where he is told in no uncertain terms, that he should not have involved the police. “We could all be in trouble!” rages Garry, but Chester responds that they are all simply lying.

| "I was only doing what's best for you" |
Britt protests that she was only doing what is best for him, Aaron, Catrin and Gwern, but he insists he had a right to know what was going on.
Garry shouts at him, “Sit down!

| "Show a bit of respect!" |
“You don’t have the right to know what’s going on in other people’s lives, unless they choose to tell you – and show more respect to people, especially your mother! Apologise!”
Chester refuses, and Garry continues, “The only way to get respect is by showing it! Go home and get changed for school, and after school, come to the garage – I’ve got some jobs for you.”

Dani asks Britt what she is going to tell the police, and Garry instructs her to say nothing;

“The money was in his account, and you know nothing about it – he has no evidence to the contrary.”
Dani backs this up; “The less you say, the better – you don’t want to be charged as an accessory.”

when Gwyneth shows him the posting on CnocCnoc, from Deri Sinner.

Siôn considers that this is libel, but she maintains tha Britt is not responsible, as she would not know how to set it up.
“This is about both of us,” says Gwyneth, “And it’s what Chester said yesterday, and he understands computers.

Siôn suspects that he went to the police; “I don’t know, but I’m going to find out!” resolves Gwyneth.

Eileen discovers Sioned making Ed a smoothie,

which he does not want, and talking about organic food, as she is eager to have only the best. Then she breaks the news, “We’re going to try for a baby – well, we’ve already started – and want to change our lifestyle and diet.”

Eileen enquires that as they are young and healthy, what more can they want, and Sioned rather unfeelingly replies,

Ed is cringing; “Please don’t say that in front of anyone else!” he begs her, and walks out of the flat.

Hywel has called Stacey to the café, where he thanks her for looking after the station; “I won’t be leaving the village, but I’d like you stay at CwmFM – I trust you, and we’ve got history.”
“I don’t know the details about Sheryl,” she replies, “But you can’t go wrong if you follow your heart.”

She turns, sees Sheryl walking in, complete with pram, and her face falls.
Mark asks who is the young stranger, and Sheryl tells him,

Siôn finds Britt unlocking the chip shop, and suggests, “We should tell the police that Megan lent us the money – it was a deal between us.”
Her reply is, “Us? I have nothing to do with this!”

Garry comes across the road, and she tells him, “He wants me to lie to the police, that’s all!”
Garry threatens Siôn, “You keep dragging my sister from one mess to another!

Siôn in turn snarls at Garry, “Still full of threats, like a phony gangster! Remember, you don’t hold all the cards – not every time!” and walks away.

Inside the chippy, Garry reports, “Dani and I have been talking, and she’s willing to let Chester stay with us for a while. He needs a strong fatherly figure – I was the same at his age.”

Eileen is at the Deri and orders Tuna Niçoise, but without potato, dressing and bread; when Mark suggests she should have asked for a plate of lettuce, she explains,

“The doctor says I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol – it’s a miracle I’m still here!” Mark informs her that he had all those problems, but all the walking as a postman changed everything.

Kelly suggests he could join the boxing match, which he declines; “Colin’s doing it – he boxed a bit when he was young,” she says, but Mark dismisses this as a fantasy.

Just arrived, with Ed in tow, Sioned gives her opinion, “That’s rather irresponsible – encouraging amateurs to box. What if someone gets seriously injured?”
Sara jokes, “Are you worried Ed will have to fight Cwmderi’s Mike Tyson?”

This angers Sioned, who instructs Ed that he is not going to do this; “Not when we’re trying for a baby! What if he got an injury on his . . . ?” As Kelly and Sara look at each other, she continues, “He can’t do it – we can’t afford to take the risk!”

Dani sees Sheryl come in with the baby, and Hywel explains why they had not told her before.

Outside the garage, Chester half-heartedly polishes a car; “You’ve missed a bit – here!” objects Garry. “Don’t think Dani and I will be soft on you – Britt is like a holiday compared to us!”
Gwyneth comes round the corner, her face like thunder; “No prizes for guessing what you’re going to accuse me of!” comments Chester, “No wonder Mam is in such a state, with you shouting at her in the street!”

Gwyneth replies that she has no argument with him, “But I think you have with me! Did you put disgusting things on CnocCnoc? And call the police as well?”

Gwyneth asks why Britt should not back up Siôn.

“What – lie to the police?” demands Garry, “We have to put a stop to all this – too many people know the truth, and evidence from the bank will prove everything. Siôn might not be jailed – after all, he did pay the money back – but he’s only making things worse.

“This is my lawyer’s number – you’d better talk to her, before Siôn does something silly.”

In the Deri Sara surprises Ed when she comments, “It’s a shame you’re not doing the boxing – I would have trained with you. I used to do some sparring and kick-boxing.”

Mark is assuring Stacey that she is doing the right thing when they come in; “Now I just have to tell him,” she says, summoning up her courage. “Actually, I don’t feel too bad about dropping him in it!”

She walk across to Hywel and tells him, “I’m leaving Cwmderi – I’ve been offered a good job in London.”

He asks, “Is this something to do with us?” and she replies that perhaps it is, but that CwmFM is too small for two bosses
She informs him before she leaves, “You’ve met your match – a woman who does whatever she wants and doesn’t care about anyone else.”

Gwyneth asks Siôn, “What if Megan doesn’t back you up? You should talk to a lawyer, because you’re relying on people to lie for you – one a devout chapel-goer, and you’re divorcing the other. Think about it – it’s your word against theirs!”

Siôn blames Garry, but she reminds him, “There’s no evidence against Garry, Megan or Britt.

“The only black and white evidence is against you!” Vowing that he will not admit to any of this, he goes out, allegedly for some fresh air.

Outside the Deri, Stacey invites Mark to visit her in London, when she has settled. “As long as it’s a suite in the hotel in Kensington,” he jokes, and hugs his sister before she gets into the taxi, driven by Mal.

Mark reminds her, “Once Hywel has got something, he wants something else!” Mal starts up the car and Stacey leaves the village.

Siôn has gone to see Britt; “The fact Chester hates me so much is something to do with you,” he says, “He blames me for everything, but I tried my best to be a good husband, and a good father to the children.

“It’s only fair that you tell them the money was an official agreement.”

| "You're just a criminal!" |
Britt answers, “Will Megan agree to lie to the police too? The problem with you is that you think you’re better than others – but you broke the law – you’re just a criminal! Now you’re ready to drag Megan and me into it. No! I’m not doing it – and I’m sure Megan won’t!”

Siôn warns Britt, “Fine – it’s your word against mine! If you don’t help me, I’ll drag you both down with me!”
