16 August 2016

"Hello, who's there?"
Gaynor hears someone downstairs at Llwyncelyn;
She deduces who owns all this
when she investigates and finds several boxes in her lounge, she realises what has happened.
Colin's breakfast time
As Colin eats his toast, Tyler comes downstairs and tells Iolo that they are going to the café for breakfast and then to the Registry Office in Swansea.
Colin comments that it is rather early to think about marriage,
They are in a hurry to get married
but Iolo is adamant that they want the first available date, and he wants Colin there, with Britt at his side.
Colin hopes it will not be 10 September, as he is meeting Lois in Cardiff on that day, and adds,
"You don't have to invite Britt"
“You don’t have to invite Britt – I know how awkward it is with your father,” but Iolo replies that she has been like a mother to him.
"What's wrong, Gaynor?"
As they leave, Colin receives a call from Gaynor;  “What’s wrong?” he asks.
"I can't even have a cuppa here!"
Dol is up early and is going to the café;  “I can’t even have a cuppa here!” she moans, “And I reckon you need some peace anyway.”   Mark again insists that he is fine, but she protests, “You knocked yourself out yesterday, so you need to be careful.”
"You fuss more than Debs!"
He tells her that she fusses more than Debbie, but she points out,
"You're white as a sheet"
“You’re as white as a sheet – I’ve seen ghosts with more colour, and you can’t do anything until Iolo’s been.”
He cannot disguise the pain in his back
“You don’t need a plumber to make a hole for the skylight!” he stresses, and appears to be having trouble with his back.
"This was my first ever book!"
As Colin looks though one of the boxes at Llwyncelyn, he finds the first book he ever had.
"Sorry about the mess!"
Sam comes in, apologising for the mess, and explaining that there is more stuff outside in the van.   Gaynor tells him that she has not agreed to all this, but he says it is only temporary, and asks, “Put the kettle on!   Moving this is thirsty work.”
"Getting married was one of my biggest mistakes!"
In the café, Debbie congratulates Iolo and Tyler, and then comments, “Getting married was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made!”
"Nicky kept me up all night!'
She also complains about Nicky keeping her awake all night.
Iolo is troubled by a Western Post article
Iolo looks upset, and points out to Tyler the article in the Western Post about another homophobic attack in Swansea.
"They're still out there!"
“They’re still out there – it happened in the same place as the others!   I’m going home, I have to phone the police to find out what happened,” he says, and dashes off, followed by Tyler.
"I bought organic food"
Debbie pops across the road to see if Sheryl can change a £20 note, and Hywel comes in with Esther, earlier than expected, as Esther was hungry, so he bought some organic babyfood from the shop.
"I want her to have the best – I thought you did too!"
“No – she eats fresh food!” admonishes Sheryl, “I want her to have the best – I thought you did too!”
“I fed mine out of jars, and they haven’t done too badly!” Debbie interjects, but Sheryl maintains that times have changed since them.
"There were snobs then as well!"
“Do you think so?” asks Debbie, “There were snobs then as well!”
Llwyncelyn now seems full of boxes
The boxes keep coming, and Gaynor asks how many more there are;  apparently, Sam has another load in Lampeter.
"Ah, look, it's Siencyn the panda!"
Colin is in his element when he finds his old toy, Siencyn the panda.   “My life is in these boxes,” Sam tells him, as Gaynor looks disparagingly into them, “Me, your Mam, Yvonne and you.”
"Most of this belongs in the bin!"
Gaynor’s verdict is, “Most of this belongs in the bin!   There’s no room for it here!”
Sam alleges he has somewhere to put it
Sam tells her that it is only temporary, as he has a safe place for it.
"They wouldn't tell me anything!"
Iolo is concerned that the police would not tell him anything about the attack, and thinks he could have helped the victim;  Tyler urges him to forget about it and move on.
"If they're still attacking people . . ."
“If they’re still attacking people, I can’t move on,” he replies.
"Be positive"
“Be positive and don’t let them beat you – what is more positive than going to the Registry Office and booking a date for the wedding?”   Iolo is sorry, but he cannot do that.
"I'm really worried about Mark!"
Dol goes to the café and reports to Debbie, “I’m really worried about Mark – he really hurt himself yesterday!
"He's not right in the head!'
He’s pale and in pain – and he’s not right in the head!”
When Debbie asks where he is now, she is told,
"He's 'doing a Siôn White'!"
“At home, ‘doing a Siôn White!’   In the attic with a sledgehammer – I’ve never heard so much banging!   Come and have a word with him, Debs, before the whole house comes down!”   Leaving Gwen in charge, Debbie hurries off.
"What do you want?   I'm busy!"
When they reach Maes-y-Deri, Mark snaps, “What do you want?   I’m busy, making the hole for the skylight – if it’s any of your business!”   Pointing at Dol, he adds, “And she’s getting on my nerves!
"Ricky's relying on me"
Ricky’s relying on me to get this finished,” and he goes upstairs.
"You keep an eye on him"
Debbie appoints Dol to stay there, keep an eye on Mark and report if anything changes.
Gaynor has a manicure
In the salon, Gaynor is having her nails done;
"I heard you're going camping"
“I heard you were going camping tomorrow night,” says Sheryl, “But I prefer my own bed.”   Gaynor enquires about Esther, and is told that they now know that they can adopt her.
"You and Hywel deserve some happiness"
“You and Hywel deserve some happiness, after all you’ve been through,” Gaynor remarks, “We need to let go of the past and look forward.”
Dol urges Mark to take it easy, and he describes her as lazy;
"Just got to turn the water on"
Iolo comes downstairs, having fixed the pipework, and tells Mark the bill will be coming in due course.
“You’ll make someone a good wife one day!” comments Dol;
"What do you mean by that?"
Iolo takes exception to this, regarding it as a reference to his sexual orientation.
"Turn the water on, twinkle-toes!"
Dol tells him, “Don’t be so touchy, and turn the water on, twinkle-toes!”
"Right, turn your own water on, then!"
Iolo storms off, telling them, “See how funny it is when you have to turn the water on yourself!”
Dol is so desperate, she is a blur
By this time, Dol is desperate, and runs out into the back garden, with Mark warning her to watch that no-one sees her.
Colin buys a round
In the Deri, Colin buys his father a pint, and asks Tyler how it went at the Registry Office;  “We didn’t go in the end,” Tyler replies,
"Iolo was too upset"
“Iolo was too upset, as there has been another attack in Swansea.   The wedding was supposed to be a new start.”
"How are things with Britt?"
Sam enquires how things are going between Colin and Britt;  “Why don’t you text her to come over?   I’ll send a message for you.”
Tyler jumps the gun a bit here
Before Colin can reply, Tyler grabs his phone and fires off a quick text to Britt.   Only then does Colin have a chance to explain that they have split up.
"Come on, I want some help"
Dol is watching the television when Mark comes and turns it off;  “I’ve turned the water back on, and now I need some help,” he says, “Give me a hand to get this skylight up to the attic.”
This is too much for Dol . . .
Dol finds the box very heavy, and they drop it;
. . . and the sound of shattering glass is heard
as it hits the floor there is an expensive sound of shattering glass.
Mark's wild expression . . .
Mark glowers at her,
. . . causes Dol to panic
and Dol looks scared.
Iolo re-reads the article . . .
Back at number 7, Iolo reads through the Western Post article again,
. . . which brings it all back
with tears in his eyes.
Debbie take a peace offering to Hywel and Sheryl
At the café, Debbie brings Hywel and Sheryl some free food in order to apologise for her outburst earlier;  then Nicky can be heard crying on the baby monitor.
Nicky is crying again
“He didn’t sleep during the night – and now this!” Debbie moans, “And of course Vicky is out enjoying herself!”
"I think he's going to kill me!"
When Dol rushes in, Debbie wants to know if Mark is all right;  “I didn’t wait to find out,” answers Dol, “I’ve broken his skylight – I think he’s going to kill me!”   Debbie bursts out laughing.
"Can't wait until tomorrow night!"
Gaynor sends a text – “Can’t wait until tomorrow night.”   Sam comes in and tells her that he has invited Colin for a meal, as things are not going well with Britt.   Colin sits, looking devastated,
It appears Britt is in Newcastle
and is not cheered when he receives a message from Britt – “I’m in Newcastle.   It’s a battlefield.”
"Well, I haven't finalised it . . . "
Sam admits he has not actually made any arrangements concerning where to put his belongings, so Gaynor issues an ultimatum;
"Everything out by the end of the week!"
“You’re taking advantage again!   I want each and every box out of here by the end of the week, or I’m throwing them out – and you!”
Tyler arrives home with the good news that he has rescheduled their meeting with the registrar for tomorrow.
"Victim Support Group meeting tomorrow"
“I can’t go – I have a Victim Support Group meeting,” says Iolo, “I now realise I haven’t dealt with things – I still need help.”
"I don't think you're trying"
Tyler stresses that he is here to help, but Iolo replies that is not enough.   “You should talk to me more – I don’t think you’re trying,” Tyler tells him,
"You see yourself as a victim"
“You see yourself as a victim.   Reliving something you can’t change won’t help you or anyone else.   You have to forget what happened and focus on the good things in your life!”
"Oh, it's that simple, is it?"
Incredulous, Iolo answers, “Oh, it’s that simple, is it?”
