Sam is in the back street, and when he looks down the alley and sees Dol coming out of the café, he keeps out of sight;
![]() |
| "I'd say someone is hiding!" |
this is seen by Dani, who remarks, “I’d say someone is hiding! Dol does have expensive tastes when someone else if paying, but your secret is safe with me.”
![]() |
| "You haven't got an empty shed, have you?" |
Sam wonders whether there is an empty shed behind the Deri, as he has a few items – boxes and furniture – to store. “Not another boat, I hope!” Dani exclaims, “Sorry, I can’t help.”
![]() |
| "The most ridiculous idea yet!" |
At Cysgod y Glyn, Ffion pronounces this is, “The most ridiculous idea yet! We’ll be in a field without a door to keep us safe!”

| "We have to act normally" |
Gethin reassures her that they will be with friends, and they have to act normally, or Craig will have won.
![]() |

“Normally?” she demands, “What’s normal about leaving Arwen in North Wales? I just want to go back to the beginning of the holidays, before this happened!”

| "I thought you had gone for good!" |
“I thought you had gone for good!” she says, and he regrets disappointing her. He apologises for leaving so abruptly, but he was scared. Anita admits that perhaps she and Dol did go a bit far, but it was no more than he deserved.
![]() |
| "You're the most important thing to me" |
He maintains that now he realises that she is the most important thing to him, but she interrupts him;
![]() |
| "I don't have time for this" |

| Penrhewl's idyllic camping spot |
In the field at Penrhewl, some of the tents have been erected;
![]() |
| Gethin keeps an eye on Ffion . . . |
as Gethin hammers in a tent peg,
![]() |
| . . . who is very nervous |
Ffion stands looking anxiously into the woodland. Eifion tells Sara that Jason has gone for more tent pegs from Awyr Iach, and infiltrates himself as barbecue operator in Jason’s place.
![]() |
| Oh – here comes Dol! |
Sara is not pleased to see Dol approaching; “Oh, Jason invited me,” she says,
![]() |
| "He's not supposed to be in the Deri!" |
“I was having a pint in the Deri, just like your hubby.” In characteristic fashion, she grabs four cans.
![]() |
| "Have you five minutes for your little brother?" |
As Dani is sweeping up the salon, Tyler arrives with two coffees, wanting a chat with his big sister.
![]() |
| "We've decided to get married as soon as possible" |
He explains, “Iolo and I have decided to get married as soon as possible, but don’t get too excited.”
![]() |
| "A beach, a minister and a couple of seagulls?" |
She imagines they are going somewhere exotic, with a beach, a minister and a couple of seagulls, but he dispels this idea.
![]() |
| "I'm worried about Iolo" |
“I’m worried about Iolo – he heard that the gang in Swansea have made another attack, and that’s all he can think about.” Dani points out that Iolo has been though a lot and will take a while to get over it. “Why can’t he organise the wedding and block out everything else?” Tyler rather callously demands.
![]() |
| "Sprnd more time with him" |
Dani advises that Iolo is sensitive, and Tyler must simply be there for him; “Spend more time with him – hold his hand through this.” Tyler points out that is difficult when he has a wedding to organise.
![]() |
| "You need a wedding planner – Moi!" |
“That’s why you need a wedding planner,” Dani tells him, “And I know someone who will do it for nothing – Moi! I know you and I know Iolo –

| "I know what you both like" |
“I know what you both like – and I’m organised!” Tyler will speak to Iolo about it.
![]() |
| Ffion is becoming paranoid |
Ffion is concerned by rustling in the trees, but it is only Jason, bringing more drink;
![]() |
| "Did you have to invite Dol?" |
“Did you have to invite Dol?” Sara moans, and he replies that she invited herself. “I wanted tonight to be special,” she continues, and Jason suggests that in that case they get started on this bottle.
![]() |
| "I can't say no to bubbles!" |
Dol appears and relieves him of the bottle; “I can’t say no to bubbles!” she laughs.
![]() |
| "Hope you've brought some bottles with you!" |
Gaynor trudges up with her two capacious bags, and Jason offers to help her erect her tent; Sara is quick to point out he is supposed to be doing the barbecue,
![]() |
| "Eifion's fine with the barbecue!" |
but he considers that Eifion is managing fine.
![]() |
| I see that Gwen has escaped from the café |
“I hope so,” comments Dol, “I’m starving!”
Sara stresses that he does not have to flirt any more, as she has bought the tent, but he is adamant he is ‘helping’, not ‘flirting’. “It’s a shame you’re not so eager to help me!” Sara grumbles.
![]() |
| "Someone's in those trees" |
Ffion is on edge; “Gethin, did you see that? Someone’s in those trees – Craig’s followed us – I’m going home!”
Gethin tries to calm her; “You’ve got to stop doing this – there’s no-one there, and even if it were Craig, he wouldn’t do anything here! We’re safe.”
![]() |
| Sam recalls old memories |
At Llwyncelyn, Sam looks though a photo album;
![]() |
| "Have I come at an awkward time?" |

![]() |
| "I tried to do that this morning!" |
Sam replies, “I tried to do that this morning! You must remember I have feelings too. Actually I need some company, so can we start today again?”
![]() |
| "Go on – be supportive!" |
Finding Iolo in the Deri, Dani urges Tyler to go and be supportive, while she watches his progress from behind the bar.
![]() |
| "I've found a wedding planner" |
Tyler says he is sorry for not supporting Iolo and understanding him. “Don’t get annoyed, but I’ve found a wedding planner,” he says, looking toward the bar.
![]() |
| "Dani?" |
“Dani?” says Iolo, incredulously, “We might as well get married in Vegas! But thanks for putting a smile on my face.”
![]() |
| The wine is becoming diluted |
It is raining at the campsite, but the participants sit around while Jason tops up their glasses.
![]() |
| "Don't forget me!" |
Dol is keen to get her share, and then suggests they should have a singsong.
![]() |
| "I want to go home!" |
Ffion has had enough already and wants to go home.
![]() |
| "I know you well enough already!" |
Sara wants everyone to talk and get to know each other. Dol has strong views on this; “I know you well enough already!” she comments scathingly.
![]() |
| "That path over there is an old drovers' path" |
“Do you like ghosts?” asks Eifion, “That path over there is an old drovers’ path – the story is that thieves drowned two of them in the river!”
![]() |
| "You're like a schoolboy, trying to frighten us!" |
Gaynor finds this fascinating, but Sara describes it as a schoolboy prank, trying to frighten them.
“Auntie Marian swore she saw a ghost here once,” he continues, and Dol suspects she may have been on the gin. “A tall, bald man, walking through the field!”
![]() |
| "That's enough – I'm going to bed!" |
This unsettles Ffion even more, and she immediately decides to go to bed. Gethin explains that she has to be up early tomorrow, as the school results are out.
![]() |

![]() |
| "I have to find somewhere to store this stuff" |
“Mind you, I have to look to the future as well – I have to find somewhere to store all this stuff. Do you happen to know anyone with a spare room?”
![]() |
| "Oh, that's why you called!" |
Anita realises, “Oh, that’s why you called! I’m not going to let you use me –
![]() |
| "The answer's NO, Sam!" |
“the answer’s NO, Sam!”
![]() |
| "There's someone out there!" |
Inside the tent, Ffion is aware of someone outside and wakes Gethin; then they hear a noise and go out to investigate.
![]() |
| But they find it is Sara, looking for Jason |
Sara is prowling, looking for Jason; “He went to the toilet ages ago! He must think I’m stupid!”

![]() |
| "Jason – I know you're in there!" |
she demands, “Jason – I know you’re in there!”
![]() |
| "What are you on about?" |
Gaynor peers out, but before she can say anything,
![]() |
| "I told you, I went to the toilet" |
Jason arrives from the other direction.
Sara feels rather silly, and demands who is in Gaynor’s tent, to which she receives the reply, “Mind your own business!”
![]() |
| This is who Gaynor was entertaining! |
Another face emerges from the tent; Eifion announces, “It’s me, as it happens. Can we have some peace please?”
The tent is zipped up, and giggles from inside compound Sara’s discomfiture.
![]() |
| "There's something wrong with you!" |
“There’s something wrong with you,” Jason tells her, and she asks what she was supposed to think.
![]() |
| "You and no-one else!" |
He emphasises, “Sara, you’re the one I want – you and no-one else! When will you realise that?”
