Garry is home, after a night at the cop shop
Dani is relieved when Garry walks back into the flat, as he has been at the police station all night.   “I’ve got an alibi, haven’t I?” he tells her, “But that DS Davies made me jump through hoops!”
“I could throttle Craig for doing this to you!” rages Dani,
"I could throttle your brother and his girlfriend!"
but he replies that he could throttle her brother and his girlfriend for running straight to the police.
"Have you told me everything?"
She protests, “It was not Geth’s fault he was in the wrong place at the wrong time – you have told me everything, haven’t you?   I don’t want any surprises!”
Garry worries that this will affect his profit
Garry is concerned about the effect this will have on garage trade, and doubts if people will believe that he had nothing to do with it.
"See you later!"
He urges her to go with Iolo and Tyler as planned;  all he wants is a shower and a sleep.   “We’ve got through worse than this, and we’ll get through this as well, I promise,” he tells Dani.
Cadno is on light duties in the farmyard
Cadno is trying to do some light work on the farm, and praises Eifion, who has not stopped all weekend.
"You should enjoy yourself – with Gaynor, perhaps"
“You should have a break and enjoy yourself – with Gaynor, perhaps?” she suggests.
"I don't think she's interested"
He doubts whether Gaynor is interested, but then he receives a text from her;  “Ask her out,” advises Cadno.
"Why didn't you just leave things alone?"
Ffion is vacuuming when Gethin arrives, followed by Garry, who rants, “I told you time after time – and what do you do?   Run straight to the pigs!   Why didn’t you just leave things alone?”
"It's called conscience!'
Ffion points out, “It’s called conscience!”   Garry demands if she thinks that Craig has a conscience.
"Do you realise the effect this will have on the garage?"
“Do you realise the effect this will have on the garage?” he says, “Who will bring their car to a garage linked with a murder?”
"All you're interested in is money!"
Ffion is furious;  “I went through hell with Craig – and all you’re interested in is money!”   Garry maintains that it was nothing compared with what he will do to her now.
"Craig has been arrested!"
Gethin has a phone call from DS Davies, advising that Craig has been arrested for Administering Noxious Substances, and the police have found spots of blood in the pit, which have been sent to the lab.   Ffion is relieved, but Garry glowers.
Colin is looking for answers
During a quiet moment in the shop, Colin looks up ‘Erectile Dysfunction’ on a tablet in the back room.   Unnoticed, Jim comes in and looks over his shoulder;
"Got problems down there, have you?"
“Oh yeah!   Got problems down there, have you?”
"She won't stay with me if I can't . . . "
Colin is extremely embarrassed, protesting that there is no privacy anywhere, and confides to Jim, “I’m scared of losing Britt – she won’t stay with me if I can’t . . . It’s never happened to me before.”
"Go and see the doctor, then"
Jim tries to reassure him that it happens to a lot of men, and all he has to do is go and see the doctor, which Colin is very reluctant to do.   “What if I found out there is something wrong?   I’d definitely lose Britt then!
"She's the best thing that's happened to me"
She’s the best thing that’s happened to me since . . . I’m going to lose everything because of this!”
Posh place, this Cwrt Coch! (or Canada Lodge, CF15 9NF)
Kelly, Iolo and Tyler are very impressed with Cwrt Coch;
They are greeted by the manager . . .
the manager, Mr Russell, greets them, assuring them that they will have a day to remember,
. . . and served with drinks
and leads them to the Hebog (Falcon) Suite
"You can't frighten us!"
Ffion insists that it is futile, Garry trying to frighten them, but he emphasises, “You don’t realise what you’ve done!
"They'll be after your blood – our blood!"
Craig might be inside, but his gang is still out there, and they’ll be after your blood – our blood!”
"The police will protect us"
Ffion replies that they would not do anything, as it would be too obvious, and the police have promised to protect them.   “Do you really think they’re a match for Craig and his gang?   You have no idea who you’re dealing with – he was inside for manslaughter.   He killed a woman from Merthyr years ago.”
Ffion sticks to her insistence that they have done the right thing,
Garry turns even more threatening
but Garry warns her, “You keep telling yourself that!   If Craig makes my life difficult, he won’t be the only thing you have to worry about!”   He walks out, and Gethin is not far behind him.
Colin has given up hope . . .
Colin sits, dejected, in the kitchen at number 7
. . . when Jim brings the cure for his problem
when Jim comes in the back door, carrying a small plastic container;
"One of these and you'll be a new man!"
“There you are – the answer to your problem!   One of these and you’ll be a new man!”   Colin is sceptical about this, but Jim seems very certain;  “One of these will put a smile back on your face – and on Britt’s!   Trust me – they’re guaranteed to work – all you have to do is enjoy yourself!”
"How do you know?"
“How do you know they’re guaranteed!” enquires Colin, “Do you use them?”
"You cannot fail!"
Jim answers that Colin cannot fail with one of them, and that he should relax.
Eifion is preparing lunch . . .
Cadno comes into the farm kitchen to find that Eifion has prepared lunch, but it is not for her,
. . . for Gaynor, and they will eat outside
as she finds when Gaynor arrives, suggesting they could eat al fresco in the field.
"Yes, I'm very impressed with the place!"
Mr Russell at the hotel is confident of securing the wedding booking, but then Dani points out that he is under a misapprehension;  it is not her and Iolo getting married, but rather Tyler and Iolo.
"We've never had 'that kind of wedding' here"
Tyler asks, “There’s no problem is there?” and Mr Russell replies that they have never had ‘that kind of wedding’ at the hotel before,
"There's a conference booked on 15 September"
and advises that they are very busy throughout the Autumn, and in fact have a conference booked on 15 September.
"You've got a problem with us!"
“You’ve got a problem with two men getting married, haven’t you?” demands Iolo.   Tyler assumes that the hotel will be very busy all through the Winter too.   The manager suggests another hotel might be more suitable.
Iolo flounces off
“I’m not going to be somewhere I’m not welcome,” decides Iolo and leaves, followed by the others.
"The problem is all sorted out"
Colin welcomes Britt to number 7, advises that he has sorted out yesterday’s problem
"Come on!"
and cannot wait to whisk her off up the stairs.
Gethin sits on the bench outside APD,
"Ooh-er!   This looks ominous!"
and is anxious when he sees a hefty stranger come round the corner;
But the 'muscle' is only Chris
he is reasssured when the man, Chris,
"You'd forget your head if it wasn't fixed on!"
is greeted by Kelly, who returns his wallet, which was found down Iolo’s sofa, and they go into number 10 for a cup of tea.
The idyllic Cwmderi countryside
Out in the field in the sunshine, Gaynor is enjoying her picnic;
"I know how to give a woman a good time"
“I know how to give a woman a good time,” boasts Eifion.
Is Gaynor visualising somewhere for Sam to store his stuff?
She remarks on the size of one of the farm sheds,
"Ah, what cute little lambs!"
and he shows her a photo of the two orphan lambs, John and Alun, which the boys bottle-fed earlier in the year.
“I’m pretty good with my hands,” he adds, as he puts an arm around Gaynor.
Colin has a look of accomplishment this time
Colin looks much more happy, and perhaps exhausted, when he comes downstairs;  Britt comments, “You’re like a new man!”
"The problem was all up here"
“The problem was all up here,” he replies, tapping his head,
"Casanova Colin!"
“Just call me Casanova Colin!”
Kelly blows her top
Kelly is infuriated when she is told in the Deri what happened;  “You can’t get married there because you’re gay?   Did you take a swing at them?   You can’t let a bigot like that treat you like second-class citizens!”
"Perhaps I should have stood up to him"
Iolo tells her that he faces this all the time, and he is tired;  all he wanted to do is organise the wedding.   He agrees with Kelly that he should have stood up to the manager.
Colin informs Jim of his success
Jim chuckles when he receives a text from Colin, with the single word, “BINGO!”
"He won't drag me down with him"
When Dani arrives back at the flat, Garry tells her that Craig has been arrested;  “I was not there when it happened, so he won’t drag me down with him,” Garry says,
"They think the police can protect them!"
“If only Gethin and Ffion had listened to me – they think the police can protect them!”
"Some of this is your fault!"
Dani demands, “Why do you have to mix with scumbags like Craig?   This happened in your garage, so some of this is your fault!”
"We're leaving!"
Gethin is packing cases and announces, “We’re leaving!   We’re not hanging around waiting for Craig’s gang to come looking.   I’ve packed most things and got money.   I’ll text Garry to say I won’t be at work for a while, but I’m not sure where to go yet.
"We're not going away for ever"
We’re not going away for ever – just until we know exactly what is happening with the investigation.”
"It's the last thing I wanted!"
Ffion says the last thing she wanted was to endanger the family, then is suprised to see that Gethin has packed things for Arwen.
"We pick Arwen up, then disappear!"
He enlightens her;  “We’re picking her up first, then we’re going to disappear until things quieten down.”
They are about to leave
Picking up the cases, they hurriedly leave Cysgod y Glyn.
