10 May 2016

"That's fantastic news!"
Sheryl answers her mobile;  “There’s a nice surprise,” she says in English, “That’s fantastic news.   You want me to come over straightaway?
"I'm not sure at such short notice"
I’m not sure at such short notice – I’ll think of something.”   She tells Hywel it was only a client cancelling, but he is unconvinced.
"Can you go over the accounts?"
Sara sees Anita at Megan’s shop and asks if she can go over the accounts tomorrow.   “You want to discuss cutting wages, do you?” enquires Anita,
"That's shameful!"
and Megan describes it as shameful.
“You’ve both run businesses, so you should understand I had to review the situation,” Sara insists, but Megan points out that she did not exploit people.
"Don't believe a word!"
As Sara struts off, Megan comments, “Don’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth – she’s an unpleasant girl!”   Anita reprimands her, a leading member of the chapel, for having such a sharp tongue.
Anita saves her from falling down
Megan turns and stumbles, with Anita preventing her from falling.   She looks pale and feels dizzy, so Anita insists on helping to close the shop.
"I'll come over to see you"
Sara speaks on the phone to Sheryl and says she will come over to see her soon;
I'm sure Jason would have something to say about this
on the laptop she transfers £3,000 from her and Jason’s joint bank account to that of Awyr Iach
She hopes she has done the right thing
leaving only £21.58.
Courtney appears to be smitten . . .
As Courtney is looking at a photo of Mathew on her phone,
. . . and looks very happy
and taking a ‘selfie’, she receives a text from her father, “Where are you?”
Meanwhile, they are waiting for her
Jim and Eileen are in Cwm Delhi, where Courtney is supposed to join them.
"I want no arguments, right?"
Eileen is hoping for a nice family meal with no arguments, and Jim is concerned that Courtney is working too hard.
Eileen considers, “It’s good that she is taking her exams seriously – it may be helping her get over the shock of Angela leaving.
Jim has been put in his place
When she comes, leave her alone – we don’t want her more stressed – she doesn’t need you giving her the third degree!”
Hywel is missing Jinx
In the salon, Hywel frets, “I know he was a a nuisance, but I’d do anything to have Jinx back.   You know what they say – you don’t know what you have until it’s gone.”
Sara begins the rehabilitation of Awyr Iach
Sara arrives, and confesses that she should have cancelled the contract with Telcaro much earlier, but she has now, and changed suppliers.   “I admired you for organising the protest,” she tells Sheryl, “So I’d like you to help me.
"I'd like you to choose where the money goes"
Some of the profit made from using Telcaro should go to a charity that helps children – I know they’re very close to your heart.   I’d like you to choose where the money goes.”
Sheryl has no hesitation, but Hywel is dubious
Sheryl immediately suggests, “The school for orphans in Uganda is struggling, and that £3,000 would make such a difference.
"They are desperate there!"
They are desperate there!”   Hywel is more in favour of a local charity, but Sheryl will not hear of it.
"I've got a better story for you!"
Sara leaves them to discuss it, and as soon as she is outside, phones Kelly to come to the Deri, where she is meeting Sheryl and Hywel later.
"I'm just popping out for a while"
Kelly tells Anita that she is popping out for a while;  Megan has been taken to number 10, where
"Ginger, good for the circulation"
Anita gets her a cup of ginger tea, good for the circulation.   When Anita chides her for doing too much,
"The chapel won't run itself"
Megan replies that the chapel will not run itself, and it is a problem to find people to lead the services.
Sara, about to start her self-publicity
Hywel and Sheryl meet Sara in the Deri;  when Kelly arrives, Sara explains Awyr Iach’s new policy, and that they are donating £3,000 for the orphanage in Africa.   Sheryl does not have the bank details, but will ensure the money gets to them.
"Smile for the camera"
As Kelly takes a few photos to accompany her article, Sara asks how the money will get to Uganda;  “Are you going to take it yourself?”
"I'll be taking it myself!"
Hywel is shocked when she answers that she will indeed be doing that.
"You've only just come back!"
He takes her aside and demands, “What?   Going back to Uganda?   You’ve only just come back!   When do you intend to go?”   She replies that she will take the first flight she can get,
Poor old Hywel is stunned
and he is left speechless.
"You know Sara's using you?"
After recovering his equilibrium, he complains that she should have told him first;  “You know Sara’s using you, don’t you?” but Sheryl does not care.   He demands how long she will be away this time.
"This is something I have to do!"
“I don’t know!   This is something I have to do!   If you’d seen what I have, you would understand.   Sorry, Hywel, but I’m going!”
The bickering begins
In Cwm Delhi, Jim and Eileen begin to argue, but then Courtney arrives;
"You have to feed those brain cells"
“Choose what you like, never mind the price,” he tells her, “You have to feed those brain cells.”   The atmosphere is becoming rather fraught.
"Freshly-caught fish from Sam"
Anita persuades Megan to stay for some fish soup for dinner, made from Sam’s freshly-caught fish.   “You are courting, then?” deduces Megan, “About time too – you don’t want to be lonely and infirm like me.   I’m too old for that sort of thing.”
"We've got things to discuss"
Kelly and Sara arrive, explaining they have things to discuss;  “What – like working conditions?” enquires Megan.   Sara wastes no time in publicising the £3,000 charitable donation from Awyr Iach, and Anita invites her to stay for dinner.
"You've hardly eaten anything"
Eileen has not eaten all her food, so Jim polishes it off for her;  “You’ve hardly eaten anything,” he says to Courtney, who is busily occupied smiling and texting.
"What's your problem with Elliw?"
“It’s Elliw, if you must know!   What’s your problem with Elliw?   Out with it!” snaps Courtney.   He mumbles about her not being the sort of company his daughter should be keeping.   “Because she had a baby!” rages Courtney.
Despite Jim emphasising that he has been worried about her since her mother left, she announces she is going home.
"Eifion's house feels more like home!"
“Eifion’s house feels more like home to me, because he leaves me alone – not like you!”
"Anyone would think you're running away from me!"
Hywel and Sheryl are home;  he demands how she can pretend that nothing has happened, but she is adamant she has made her decision.   “What’s the rush?   Anyone would think you’re running away from me!   How do you expect me to feel?
"There's a huge void between us!"
Ever since you came back, there’s a huge void between us – like you left a piece of yourself out there.   Your place is here with me!”
She immediately goes online
As soon as he goes out for some food, she turns on the laptop.
"Sara could address the congregation"
Anita suggests that Sara could address the congregation about the situation of children in the clothing industry,
At last, one thing that they agree upon
but neither Sara nor Megan consider this a good idea.   Then Kelly proposes that Anita could give a good sermon;
"She's always lecturing me!"
“She’s always lecturing me!”
Sheryl replaces the credit card in her wallet as Hywel returns with the food;
Sheryl has just completed the booking
he sees the ‘Flights for Less’ Booking Confirmation on the laptop screen.
"Do you think so little of me?"
“Do you think so little of me?” he pleads, “I don’t understand – tell me!”
She urges him to trust her, but he throws down the food;  “Cook it yourself!” he snarls, and storms out.
"I've found a way to get away!"
Sheryl immediately makes another phone call;  “I’ve found a way to get away – I’ll text you the flight details!
"I can't wait!"
I can’t wait either!   Bye!”
