Iolo opens a box containing press cuttings about his attack;

Tyler advises, “Throw them away – you don’t want anything to remind you of that terrible night!” but Iolo stops him from screwing up the papers.
“Your OCD is getting worse, isn’t it?” Tyler continues, and is accused of being insensitive.

“All you have to do is identify that woman – then we can have a nice time tonight – my treat! Once this and your Dad’s court case are over, things will look a lot better.”

Iolo comments, “As long as Dad and Gwyneth haven’t killed each other!”

| Off Siôn goes to work . . . |
Siôn rides his bike up the hill on the way to work,

but Gwyneth is watching from above.

| "No, I don't want you involved" |
In the Deri, Tyler wants to go to the police station with Iolo, but is told, “No – I don’t want you involved in this dirty business.

“You enjoy life and nothing gets you down – I don’t want to change that. I’m going on my own.”

| "He just wants a bit of fun when it suits him" |
Tyler moans to Kelly that he is just a boyfriend to Iolo, not a partner for life, but a bit of fun when it suits him.

| "I'm afraid he's going to crack" |
“His father has cracked – I’m afraid that he will too, and won’t be in any state to get married.”
| "How about if I go with you?" |
Kelly goes across to talk to Iolo; she suggests that she could go with him.

“I’m worried that I’ll be frightened when I see her face – I don’t know why I’m so nervous,” he admits, and Kelly announces that she is definitely going with him.

“So you can put the story in the paper?” he demands, then immediately adds, “Sorry – part of me actually wants to see her in the flesh. If she attacked me, I’d like to know why.”

Kelly has no doubts about the reason; “Because she’s homophobic – end of!”

| Siôn is back at work |
Siôn arrives at the Cash and Carry,

| "We're through to the regional finals" |
where Simon tells him that the quiz team are going through to the regional finals in Cardiff – one of the hospitality suites at the stadium. Siôn enjoyed it last night, and would like Jackie and himself to be considered for the team.

| Gwyneth has been following him |
Then Simon sees a stranger; Gwyneth says she is looking for someone, and ignores him when he mentions he used to have a Honda 500 bike.

At the police station, Iolo is led into a room and asked to look carefully at the images on the screen, and indicate if he recognises his attacker.

He sees one photograph and nods nervously, then asks to hear the audio clips of each of the three women.

He listens to them say, “I hate gays!” and selects the voice he remembers.

Gwyneth searches the warehouse, then hears an announcement; “John White – spillage in aisle three!”

She heads in that direction and sees Siôn, who is amazed to be confronted by her.

| "You've got some explaining to do!" |
He tries to walk away, but she raises her voice; “You’ve got some explaining to do! You’re not going anywhere!”

| "I've come back home and changed direction" |
He insists that he was going to contact her when he got settled; he has come back home now, found a job and changed direction.

Even louder, Gwyneth demands, “How do you think I feel? My partner disappears without a word! I didn’t even know if you were alive!” By this time, the customers are taking notice of the altercation,

and Siôn calls to Simon the security man to escort her out, as she is threatening him.

As she is propelled toward the door, she shouts, “You have no right to treat me like this! He’s lying – his name is Siôn White, not John!”

| Kelly makes beans on toast |
Iolo is back at Anita’s house, where Kelly makes him beans on toast. The police phone to let him know that the girl, Meleri Dafydd, has been charged.

| "You're doing us all a favour!" |
“You’ve done us all a favour, getting her off the streets – I bet they’ll get all the gang now,” says Kelly.

| Iolo carries out some online research |
Checking on his phone, Iolo reports, “She seems very fond of social media sites, and she lives in Swansea; do you know the Gelli Estate?

| "No, I know the pubs in Swansea" |
Kelly replies that she went to the pubs in Swansea, but does not remember street names.

| "Look where she lives" |
Iolo shows her his phone; “Look where she lives – a posh estate.” Kelly points out that not all homophobes live in rundown streets, and she looks innocent, as she is playing the sympathy card.

| Tyler enquires how it went |
Tyler phones, and Iolo tells him that he has just arrived back at Kelly’s house, and that the girl has been charged.

| Dani is shortening his trousers |
Tyler is at that moment having his trousers altered by Dani, who says that now she will have to go shopping for a wedding outfit.

Gwyneth, with her determined look, is now inside the house at Tylorstown,

where she looks around and notices the photos.

| Not a pleasant homecoming for Siôn |
Siôn comes down the steps outside, and is not pleased to see her. “The back door was open,” she tells him, and he answers that there is no need for a lock on this street.

“So you expect me to go back to Cwmderi like a good little girl?” she snarls, “You’ve been behaving very unreasonably!”

| "I needed to sort myself out" |
He urges her to look at things from his perspective; “I’ve been through so much these last few months, I needed to sort myself out. I’m trying to forget those months ever happened.”

| "I was part of those months!" |
She reminds him that she has been part of those months, and asks if he has no feelings for her.

| "I have to turn my back on some things" |
“Starting again means I have to turn my back on some things,” Siôn states, “I’d become a selfish and ambitious man – that’s the problem with the Welsh middle classes – they’re never satisfied!”
Gwyneth tells him he needs to go to court and show them he has a backbone,

but he answers, “The Siôn you knew has gone! I’ve been accepted back here, and I’m not going to ruin that by going to court on Friday. I haven’t felt this good for years!”

Iolo ponders, “How could a girl from a nice estate like this join that gang? How would she meet Tom – what would they have in common?”

| Iolo wants to know what is going on |
Dani arrives with a box of clothes for the wedding. Iolo, who has still not been told about this, wants to know what is going on, and Kelly beats a hasty retreat.

“It’s not just any wedding!” exclaims Dani, “It’s a really posh one! Mine was rubbish in comparison.” Iolo is displeased that he was not told,

| "Who are Joanne and Peter?" |
then finds a card in the box, reading, ‘Joanne and Peter’.
Dani enthuses, “They were originally getting married – and had good taste. You can take advantage of that – it’s exciting! We bought the job lot – clothes, photographer, venue, everything!”
Tyler adds that the only problem is that they were vegetarian, “But it’s not veggieburgers – we’re having Roast Pumpkin and Spinach Lasagne!”

Iolo looks unimpressed and wants a word with Tyler in private, so Dani goes, looking rather concerned.

“Couples organise their own weddings,” says Iolo, “I wanted you to do it – not Joanne and Peter, or your sister!”

| "I don't want charity!" |
Then, when told that Dani has paid for it all, he adds, “I don’t want charity – I can afford my own wedding!”
Tyler replies that he did not want to hurt Dani’s feelings; “So your sister’s feelings mean more to you that mine!” deduces Iolo. Tyler is by now resigned to cancelling the whole thing and having a quiet little wedding,

but Iolo tells him, “No – we’ll go for it, Joanne!”

Gwyneth reminds Siôn that Iolo was also worried, or he would not have come, but he replies,

“Iolo has Tyler – they will get married and move into Y Felin.” She is aggrieved that she only heard about that yesterday, and that he did not have the nerve to tell her.

| "I can't believe you could be so cruel!" |
“You said I could stay there!” she whines, “They can’t throw me out – where do you expect me to go? I can’t believe you could be so cruel! I’ve been through a difficult time too, you know – cancer and prison! I saw our relationship as a new start for me.”

Siôn begs to disagree; “It was not a serious relationship, was it? I have nothing to offer you – it’s over. You’ll have to stand on your own two feet.”

| Now come the waterworks |
Gwyneth now turns on the tears; “I’m not strong enough to do that! We had a good time together – I miss you so much – I hate going to bed on my own – I never thought I’d feel like this about any man.

She thinks her pleading has worked when he concedes, “You can stay here tonight,”
