Eifion comes in with the Western Post; Angela says, “I know you’re still angry – I thought if I could talk to Kelly, people would understand.”

“You’re more stupid than I thought,” Eifion replies, exasperated, and shows her the newspaper article, ‘The lie that went out of control’.
After looking at the paper, Angela exclaims, “She talks here of Meilyr’s Fund and the money from Marian – that’s not what we discussed!” Eifion points out that is what people will remember.

| "Why would someone pretend to be ill?" |
and Catrin asks why someone would pretend to be ill. “To get money – it says here that she got £50,000 from Marian, Penrhewl. Fancy conning an old woman!”

Chester wonders who cares about it, and Britt reminds him that there are people out there who really are ill, and reads that Angela says she is very sorry for the distress she has caused.

Catrin looks at the photograph and remarks, “She doesn’t look very sorry to me!”

Iolo comes home to find Tyler there; “I’m enjoying myself on holiday,” he tells Iolo, “I’m meeting someone in Llanarthur tonight. You don’t know him – in fact, neither do I. I found him on a dating app – Volcano!” Iolo wonders if that is the app or the boy.

| Chester's telephone manner is rather lacking |
In the garage, Chester is on the phone to a customer, who thinks she left her purse in her car, but then finds it at home. He slams down the phone, shouting , “Idiot!”

| "You've got to control your temper" |
Garry advises that he should not talk to customers like that, and must control his temper, as he is going before the panel next week. “I wanted to withdraw the accusation!” protests Chester, then Britt walks in, remembering that being rude was just what Garry did at that age.

She urges Garry not to be too hard on him; “I’m worried he’ll crack,” she says, but Garry assures her he will not let that happen.

| Angela wants to broadcast her story |
Angela sees Hywel in the street and asks if she can come on CwmFM to tell her story in her own words, and also returns the money from Meilyr’s Fund in the form of a cheque.

| "You can't get enough attention, can you?" |
As he takes it, he tells her, “You can’t get enough attention, can you? If I were you, I wouldn’t say any more – you’ve caused enough pain as it is!”
She protests that she is really sorry, but Hywel is unconvinced;

“Are you? What would you have done if you hadn’t been caught? You would have gone to America with my son’s money – dragging Meilyr’s name through the mud is unforgivable!”
She insists that she did not say a word about the fund, and Hywel adds, “The only reason I’m not going to the police is to avoid more bad publicity for the fund.”

Kelly comes along the street and is accosted by Angela; “I hope you’re happy with your article! Eifion’s leaving, and Hywel might call the police – you’ve made things a hundred times worse!” Kelly’s attempt to describe that she had to reflect people’s response to Angela’s story goes unheeded.

“Don’t spout that rubbish at me – you’re talking about my life here! You’re so two-faced!” rages Angela, and as Iolo approaches, he is told, “She got everything she wanted out of me!” before she storms off.

Sitting in the salon, Tyler arranges on the phone to meet his date at the Bull in Llanarthur.

| Hywel looks for last year's receipts |
Hywel comes in, looking for Dani, who has gone to fetch some stock, leaving Tyler in charge in the absence of Vicky, who has a day off. Hywel wants the salon receipts for the last year, and has been asking Dani for them.

“Why don’t you ring Sheryl, then?” asks Tyler, “They do have phones in Uganda now! Right, I’m off as you’re here now.”

He leaves Hywel minding the shop.

| "How about a foot massage?" |
Iolo has invited Kelly over, after her tempestuous day; “I suppose a foot massage is too much to ask?” she says, “Where’s lover boy?”

Iolo replies that he is out somewhere, and asks her not to call him that.

| "Did you manage to phone Sheryl?" |
Tyler is in the Deri when Hywel comes in; “Did you manage to phone Sheryl? It’s strange that she has not phoned you.” Hywel replies that Sheryl is busy with her charity work, and in any case it is none of Tyler’s business.

Tyler begs to differ; “Yes it is – Dani’s my sister, and she’s under stress. Find out when Sheryl’s coming home!” Hywel walks away,

and Garry asks Tyler why he is giving Hywel a hard time.
“I’m sticking up for my sister – she’s obviously not happy,

“and if it’s not the salon, what else could it me?” Tyler replies, rather pointedly.

Kelly continues her questioning; “So nothing has happened since the kiss? No flirting over the cornflakes?”

Iolo confesses that he hardly ever sees Tyler, and that it was only a kiss, which did not mean anything.

| Britt and Catrin come to clear out some more |
Britt arrives at Y Felin with Catrin and they begin sorting the stuff that Siôn has cleared from the loft; Garry and Chester will be coming to join them later.

Eifion has just arrived at the Deri when he receives a text from Angela, pleading for him to come home.

Garry asks him where his missus is, and he answers, “She won’t be the missus much longer!” Hywel comments that he is not surprised.

Eifion snarls, “He wasn’t man enough to tell me I’d been dropped by the team! Too much of a coward!”

Hywel objects to this and confronts him; “I’m not scared of you!”

Then Garry steps in and orders Eifion out of the pub.
Eifion insists, “She told me she had an aneurysm – I thought she was ill!”

| "I was lying – it's all my fault!" |
At this point, Angela arrives, and confirms what he has said, that she was lying and it was all her fault. “See – I’m as much a victim as anyone else!” Eifion tells them, but Garry still throws him out.

Kelly has enjoyed her meal with Iolo, who asks her, “Did Angela give you a hard time earlier? I read your piece in the paper and thought it was fair.”

Kelly thinks it ironic that she must be mentally ill, or there is something very wrong between her and Eifion to say she had a life-threatening condition.

As she is about to help with the washing-up, Tyler arrives home unexpectedly with a stranger. “Kelly and Iolo, this is Lewis!” he says, but the stranger corrects him that his name is actually Luke.

Kelly tries to suppress her sniggers. “They had a quiz night at the Bull, but everyone was over 90. We’ll go upstairs, out of your way,” says Tyler.

Iolo looks rather put out, and Kelly enquires if he is all right.
Britt and Catrin gather various items and put them in boxes;

| "Let's get on with this" |
“We want to be out of here as soon as possible,” says Britt. Catrin tells Siôn that she has got stuck on her project, and he tells her he is willing to help.

“Thanks, Dad!” she says, but Britt reminds her that she does not have to call him that; he is not her parent. Britt has made sure that Siôn has no rights as a father,

but Siôn assures Catrin that he still thinks the world of her. Britt is anxious to get away as soon as she can

Back home, Eifion moans to Angela, “I just wanted a quiet pint, then you turned up, Hywel threatened to hit me and Garry threw me out. After everything I’ve done for that club, none of the boys will stick up for me!”

“I know how you feel,” she sympathises, “No-one sticks up for me either – not Eileen, Sioned or you!” Eifion points out the difference is that he has done nothing wrong.
She argues with this; “You’ve done things behind my back – you gave that money to Sioned, pretended to be ill to get money from APD!

“I’ve cooked, cleaned, looked after the boys – and when I need you most, you turn your back on me!”
He stresses that he cannot defend her, as what she did was totally wrong, so she whines,

As they hear loud music from upstairs,

Kelly suggests they watch something on television; Iolo says he does not care what.

“You do care – about Tyler!” diagnoses Kelly, and Iolo has to agree he has feelings for him.

He says that he cannot eat and cannot think straight.
“Oh dear, it’s bad!” says Kelly, “I wouldn’t worry about Lewis, Luke or whtaever his name is.

“No way is it serious – Tyler can’t even remember his name!”
Iolo reveals that he isn’t the only boy Tyler has brought home this week.

Kelly demands, “What’s his secret? I thought eligible blokes were extinct round here.” Iolo says he uses some dating app.

Then Tyler comes downstairs, stripped to the waist, to get a drink; Kelly and Iolo look at each other.

Britt comes back with Garry and Chester; “Where are you going to put all this stuff?” asks Garry.

| "Did you know Siôn's not our father any more?" |
Catrin asks Chester, “Did you know that Siôn is not our father any more?”

Chester replies that he has never been their father. Siôn reminds them that they were raised in Y Felin and will always be welcome here.
When Siôn mentions that Chester has been through a lot, with the move and the Ffion business, Chester sneers, “I’ll show her next week!”
