| "Want to come to the Classic Car show?" |
As Garry is asking Dani if she wants to come with him to a Classic Car show in Bristol on Sunday, a car pulls up and she recognises her brother, Tyler.
![]() |
| "Oh, Tyler!" |
She rushes towards him and they hug, rapturously.
Iolo has been called out to Y Felin, where a tap in the toilet is leaking;
![]() |
| "You want everything to be just right?" |
“You want everything to be just right for lunch with Gaynor?” suggests Iolo,
![]() |
| "I really can't be bothered" |

| "Craft and Design Technology" |
Up in the Deri flat, Dani says she cannot believe that Tyler will be working at Ysgol y Mynach, and announces to Garry that he is the first of her family to go to university. “I shall be teaching Craft and Design Technology,” he tells her, and she replies that Gethin’s partner also works at the school. Gethin appears to be unimpressed with him.
![]() |
| "Where are you going to live?" |
Dani asks where Tyler will be living. His reply displeases Garry; “I was hoping that I could crash here until I can sort something out.” Dani is enthusiastically in favour of this, but Garry is not so sure.

| . . . Eifion blames himself . . . |
“You wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t bought those shoes in Las Vegas! They’re too high - it’s my fault.” Eileen stands, glowering at the foot of the bed, as Angela replies that she wanted to see if they went with the clothes she bought in Cardiff.
![]() |
| . . . and Eileen is rather scathing |
“You had time for shopping between the therapy sessions, then?” Eileen asks, “Has Doctor Atkinson been to see you? – what did he say?” Angela tells her that the doctor said there was nothing to worry about, and makes a start on the chocolates Courtney has brought.
Catrin arrives at Y Felin to see Siôn, but while she is looking for him, Chester also comes in on his delivery round.
![]() |
| "You're coming home with me!" |
“You kept a key, didn’t you?” he accuses her, “Mam doesn’t know you’re here!” Catrin protests that she wants to see Dad, but Chester is in the process of marching her out when Siôn appears.
![]() |
| "I don't want you here!" |
He admonishes Chester for bullying Catrin, and orders him to leave; he refuses to go without Catrin, but Siôn insists, “I don’t want you here!”

| "Don't spoil it now" |

![]() |
| "Right, I'm telling Mam!" |
Chester angrily leaves, assuring them that Britt is going to hear about this.

Dani maintains that this is a good chance to get to know him, but he is adamant, “I don’t want anyone living with us – I’d like to have you to myself for a while!” When Tyler returns,

| "I don't want you living here" |
Garry pointedly tells him, “I don’t want you living here,”
![]() |

Tyler is very happy to be given a key.

| "Off you go to the dentist's" |
At the hospital, Angela encourages Courtney to go to the dentist’s, and Eifion to take her.
![]() |
| Eileen is determined to get to the truth |
As soon as they have left, Eileen demands, “Why did you says Dr Atkinson has seen you? There is no-one of that name working at this hospital! And also no record of your aneurysm!”
![]() |
| "There's been a mistake" |
Angela tries to convince her there has been a mistake, but Eileen is having none of it;
![]() |
| "Tell me the truth!" |
“Tell me the truth, or I shall go and get Doctor Elis!”
![]() |
| "I'm not ill!" |
Angela now realises the game is up, admitting, “I’m not ill, and I don’t have an aneurysm.”
She pleads unsuccessfully with Eileen not to be angry;
![]() |
| "How could you do this to us?" |
“How could you do this to us? You led us to believe you were dying!” rages her mother. She reveals that she thought she might be ill, and was treated differently – she never had so much attention from Eifion. She lamely says that she did not do it deliberately.
![]() |
| "Eifion jumped to a conclusion" |
Blaming Eifion, she continues, “He jumped to the conclusion that something was wrong, and I said it without thinking – then I couldn’t take it back. For the first time in my life, I felt that someone really loved me. I never felt like that before, even when a child.”
![]() |
| "Don;t you dare say it's my fault!" |
This infuriates Eileen; “Don’t you dare say it’s my fault! I tried to borrow £20,000 to help you! You’re going to tell everyone the truth, especially Courtney – how could you do this to your child?”
![]() |
| Then she blames Jim |
“She would never have found out if it wasn’t for Jim!” Angela replies, “I can’t tell her the truth today, I’ve got to find the best way to tell her, so she doesn’t hate me!”
![]() |
| Eileen then enquires about the £50,000 |
Eileen insists that there is no ‘best way’, then changes the subject, asking where the £50,000 came from. Angela says that it just came through the letterbox, marked ‘for your treatment’. “I was on my way to tell Eifion when I tripped. I am going to tell him, but please give me time to choose my words. If you don’t it could ruin everything for ever!” Eileen picks up her bag and hurries off.
![]() |
| "I can stay for lunch, can't I?" |
As Siôn pours wine for Gaynor, Catrin asks, “I can stay for lunch, can’t I?” Siôn is sure Gaynor will not mind, but she does, especially when he suggests Catrin could also watch the film with them.
![]() |
| Gaynor tries to get rid of her |
She is of the opinion that it is not a good idea for Catrin to stay without Britt’s permission. Siôn could make things even harder by going behind her mother’s back.
![]() |
| "But I want to be with Dad!" |
Siôn concludes that she is right, and will take Catrin back and explain to Britt.
![]() |
| "You finish your meal" |
“You finish your lunch,” he says,
![]() |
| Not quite the meal she had in mind |

When Eifion returns to the hospital, he discovers Eileen sitting with her head in her hands.
![]() |
| "Are you sure you're all right?" |

| "What's wrong with her?" |
Eileen gets up and leaves for home; Courtney comes in with drinks, and asks, “What’s wrong with her?”
