A very decorative Key Lime pie
While Chester is ready for court, Britt is putting the final touches to a Key Lime Pie;  she tells Chester, “We’ll have it for tea when we come back.”
"Don't know why I'm packing all this stuff"
He wonders why he is packing all this stuff to take, but Britt comments, “We’d better do as we’re told, I suppose.”
Gwern has sent a card
Garry has brought a card from Gwern, wishing Chester good luck, and assures him, “Whatever happens, we’ll be here for you.”   Britt is looking forward to putting all this business behind them after today.
"You still haven't been honest with him!"
Garry mutters to Britt, “You still haven’t been honest with him – in the next few hours his life could change for ever!”
"You haven't got any caster sugar, have you?"
Kelly comes into the Deri, and asks Alun, the barman, if they have any caster sugar, as all the shop has is granulated, and he goes to see what he can find in the kitchen.
"Is Colin's room still empty?"
Sam comes in with that sack;  he tells Iolo and Tyler that he spent last night at a cheap B&B in Llanarthur, and is looking for reasonably priced lodgings.   “Is Colin’s room still empty?”
They explain they want some space
Iolo replies that they are not looking for a lodger at the moment, while Tyler points out that they want the place to themselves.
"Not thinking of moving in with Auntie Anita?"
Overhearing this, Kelly asks Sam, “Not thinking of moving in with Auntie Anita, are you?” and Sam answers that it is too early in their relationship for that.
"Sorry, Kelly, no sugar!"
Alun comes back with the disappointing news that there is no sugar.
"Good luck, Chester!"
Outside, Kelly sees the group seeing off Chester and wishes him good luck.
"Some people have been horrible!"
Britt comments, “Goodness knows what people say about him behind his back – some people have been horrible!”   Garry assures Colin that he will look after Britt, and then insists on driving the car.
'Al fresco' wedding party?
Tyler suggests an ‘al fresco’ wedding party – but Iolo replies, “In November – in Cwmderi?   You must be joking!”
"I could arrange something!"
When this is mentioned to Dani, she enthuses about the idea, and offers to arrange something.
"What?   After last time?"
They are understandably reluctant after last time, but she is adamant, “That was a ready-made wedding, but this will be your wedding –
Dani is becoming enthusiastic
it could be a street party!”   Iolo and Tyler agree, as long as they can make the major decisions.
Outside court 2
When they arrive outside courtroom number 2, Britt heads for the toilet, and Garry advises Chester,
"If you are sent down, don't cry – OK?"
“If you are sent down, don’t cry – OK?   Seeing you upset would hurt your mother even more.”   Chester is panic-stricken that Garry considers that could happen,
"What will I do in prison?"
and wonders what he would do if sent to prison, but Garry repeats, “Whatever happens, stay strong for your mother’s sake!”
Chester approaches the moment of reckoning
Just as Britt returns, a court official calls, “Chester Monk, we’re ready for you,” and he and his mother file into the court.
"Oh, Sam, how lovely!"
Sam brings flowers for Anita and is offered a cup of tea;  “There’s something I’d like to discuss with you,” he says,

"I'm ready to take the next step"
“I’m not sure how you feel, but I think I’m ready to take the next step in our relationship.
"Living with you would make me happier"
I’ve never felt so happy, and the only thing that would make me happier is living with you.”
"Oh – that's a bit of a shock!"
This shocks Anita, but after some thought she agrees that they could try it and see how it goes;  “I don’t think Kelly would mind,” she says.
"Don't want you to think I'm taking advantage! — Yeah, right
He is willing to sleep in the spare room as he says he would not like to give the impression he was taking advantage.   He is rather taken aback by what she says next;
"How about £200 per month?"
“Shall we say £200 a month rent?   Cash or through the bank – I don’t mind,” but he agrees to this proposal.
“I could move in tonight,” he suggests, “There’s no point in wasting time, is there?   I’ll take my stuff up and then cook you dinner!”
"You have pleaded guilty to a charge of arson with intent"
In court, Chester is told, “You have pleaded guilty to a charge of arson with intent – this court has no alternative but to impose a detention and training order.
"Four months at a Young Offenders' Institution"
You will serve a period of four months at a Young Offenders’ Institution.”
Off goes Chester to start his sentence
Chester is led away, much to the consternation of his mother.
"Well, I didn't cry!"
Outside the courtroom, he tells Garry, “Well, I didn’t cry!”   As he is taken away,
"Right, I'm taking you home"
Britt tells Garry of the sentence, and they go home.
"There are awnings, gazebos and road closures"
Dani is getting into the swing of organising again, with talk of awnings and gazebos;  “I’ve contacted a few companies, and applied to the council for a road closure.   Diane will try to push the application through.
"Bridesmaid – or Maid of Honour?"
What will my official title be?   Bridesmaid?   Maid of honour?”
"That's not what we had in mind"
Tyler points out that they do not want a bridesmaid, as they had something else in mind, but Dani takes umbrage, gathers her equipment together and flounces out,
"All right!   Find yourselves another skivvy!"
saying, “All right!   I never wanted anything to do with this!   I’ve got enough to do without running around after you two!   Find yourselves another skivvy!”
"Better go after Bridesmaidzilla!"
Iolo is amused by the fact they are having a marriage crisis even before the wedding, but Tyler urges, “We’d better go after Bridesmaidzilla, or she’ll cancel our wedding!”
"I'm absolutely shattered!"
Back from her first day at work, Kelly is shattered and needs a long, hot bath;  no sooner has she gone upstairs than
A piercing scream rings out
Anita hears an earsplitting scream.
"What's he doing here?"
Kelly returns, demanding, “What’s he doing here?” as Sam appears, sporting a pink, fluffy dressing gown and nothing else,
Sam, in a fetching little pink number
explaining that he was not expecting someone to walk in.
“Is anyone going to tell me what’s going on?” squeals Kelly, and Anita explains that Sam is staying for a while.
"Thanks for consulting me, like!"
“Exactly how long is a while?” is the next question, “You decided, and he moved in the same day!   Thanks for consulting me, like!”
"I decide who lives here!"
Anita is becoming irate;  “It is my house, Kelly – I’m glad you live here and you’re always welcome, but I decide who lives here!   I don’t want any arguments.”
"Make sure you scrub the bath out!"
“That depends on how he behaves,” snaps Kelly, “And make sure you scrub out the bath when you’ve finished!”
"I haven't heard from Garry!"
In the Deri, Dani and Colin are becoming worried, when Britt and Garry return,
"With a bit of luck, he'll be out in two"
and announce the sentence;  “Four months – with a bit of luck, he’ll be out in two!” says Garry.   Colin tries to comfort Britt, who is in tears.
"How would you like to be Best Man?"
Iolo and Tyler come in to advise Dani that they do in fact want to give her an official title;  “How would you like to be Best Man?” asks Tyler.
"Well, I'm not wearing a suit!"
Dani replies that it does not sound very glamorous, and she flatly refuses to wear a best man’s suit.
On the other hand, she likes the responsibility
Then she realises, “It involves a lot of responsibility – I guess I’d be in charge of the rings, stag do, buttonhole things,
"Best thing ever to happen in Cwmderi!"
“and I have to make sure your wedding is the best thing ever to happen in Cwmderi!”   As they engage in a noisy group hug,
"Can you keep it down a bit?"
Garry comes over and asks them to turn the volume down.
Capten Sam's piece de resistance . . .
Sam produces his culinary masterpiece, the Cornish Stargazy Pie, which puts Kelly off her dinner,
. . . Stargazy Pie
but Anita suggests it could be added to the café menu.
"That would be a massive hit!"
“Yeah, that would be a massive hit!” grumbles Kelly, and decides she has had enough.   “I’m going to bed –
"I need the bathroom between 7:30 and 8:00!"
and just to let you know, I need the bathroom between 7:30 and 8:00 in the morning.   By the way, my bedroom is the second on the left, in case you go walkabout during the night!”
"Locked up with all those thugs!"
Britt bewails what has occurred;  “I feel sick – Chester being locked up with all those thugs – youngsters who have committed evil crimes!
"That's not what he deserved!"
That’s not what he deserved – he should have been forced to do community service, not thrown into clink!”
"You wouldn't listen to me!"
Garry reminds her, “There was always a chance – I tried to tell you, but you wouldn’t listen – you let him believe that everything was going to be OK – you misled him!”   She snarls that Garry should not blame her.
"You weren't straight with Chester!"
Garry is losing his temper;  “I do blame you – you weren’t straight with Chester, because you couldn’t be straight with yourself.”
Sounds as if Britt is going somewhere
“What happened today was not my fault, right?” shouts Britt, “I’m not going to stay here and be punished! I’m going far enough away from you – and Cwmderi!   There’s no point in talking to me – I don’t listen, do I?   Don’t try to contact me – just leave me alone!”
