"Has Captain Birdseye settled in?"
Kelly comes out of the shop with two four-pinters of milk;  Colin asks her, “Has Captain Birdseye settled in at your house?”
"He gets on my nerves, Col!"
She replies that he gets on her nerves with his constant stories, but Auntie Anita is lapping it up.   She asks Colin what his father’s game is.
"He tried Britt and me, also Iolo and Tyler"
Colin reveals, “He wanted to move in with Britt and me, and with Iolo and Tyler but we all refused.”   Kelly considers this interesting, and wonders what Auntie Anita would say if she knew that she was third choice.
"He was fiddling the electricity!"
Then Gaynor passes and informs Colin why Sam was thrown out of Llwyncelyn;  “He was fiddling the electricity – if anyone found out, I would be prosecuted!”
Iolo has a letter . . .
Iolo picks up an official-looking envelope, which has just been delivered,
. . . from Chester, wanting to come to the wedding
and finds inside a letter from Chester, who, he tells Tyler, want to come to the wedding.
Tyler does not look particularly pleased
Tyler looks distinctly put out by this.
Eifion denies any knowledge of the photo
Gaynor goes to see Eifion, who protests that he has nothing to do with sending her any photograph.   “I deleted it from your phone – did you keep a copy?” she demands.
"There's this cloud thing that Courtney set up"
“I don’t know how it works, but there’s a ‘cloud’ somewhere,” says Eifion, “Courtney set it up, so that everything goes from phones to the laptop.   I found the photo and deleted it, and I’m sure she did not see it.”
Gaynor envisages being a laughingstock at school
Gaynor is not reassured, but fears, “Perhaps every pupil has seen it!”   Eifion suggests that she would know about it by now if they had.
"I don't want him at the wedding!"
Tyler points out that Chester is in a Detention Centre for a reason;  “I don’t want him at the wedding!   The trouble with you is you feel sorry for everyone!”
"He says I'm like a brother to him"
Iolo reads from the letter that Chester’s heart is breaking, and that Iolo is like a brother to him.
"Your real brothers are not coming"
“You’ve already got two brothers – and they’re not coming, neither are my mother and sister,” replies Tyler, but Iolo frets that it would help him to know that his family were thinking of him – and Britt would be so happy.   Tyler is becoming angry;  “Chester and Britt are not important – I don’t want Chester turning up in handcuffs, spoiling it all.
"I'm going to school!"
“It won’t work!   I’m going to school.”
"I'm waiting for the chairman of the governors to call"
Gaynor tells Hywel that she is going to sue whoever sent that photo;  “I keep staring at the phone, waiting for the chairman of the governors to call!” she wails.
"Just act normally"
Hywel urges her to act normally, or whoever it is will have won;  he invites her to the Deri, where he and Sheryl and having lunch shortly.
A little gift for Anita
As Sam gives Anita a small present in the café, Kelly remarks that she saw Colin earlier;
"You asked to move in with Colin and Britt"
“He said you’d asked to move in with him and Britt!”   Sam explains that it was a natural thing to ask his own son.
"Iolo and Tyler are not your sons!"
“But Iolo and Tyler are not your sons,” she continues, “And you asked them.   Third choice, Auntie Anita!”
"You're the first person I thought of"
He insists that Anita was the first person he thought of;  “After you were chucked out!” interjects Kelly.   Sam maintains that he did not want to take advantage of or to be using Anita.   Anita says that he has his own room and is a lodger, adding that these things happen for a reason.
"I don't trust him!"
“The reason being that it’s super convenient for Sam!” exclaims Kelly, I don’t trust him!”
"I decide who lives there"
Anita points out that it is her house, and she decides who lives there.
Iolo is once again at odds with Tyler
In the Deri, Iolo tells Colin of the difference of opinion he and Tyler are having over a certain wedding guest.
"Not Garry?"
Colin immediately guesses, “Garry?” and then offers the advice, “Once you have upset someone by not inviting them, you’ve upset them for life!”
"Dad's been fiddling the electricity at Llwyncelyn!"
Colin also confides, “Dad has been fiddling with the electricity supply at Llwyncelyn, and now he is living with Anita, I don’t want her getting into trouble.”
"That's dangerous – and illegal!"
Iolo reminds him that it is dangerous and illegal;  it could result in prison – or worse.
"I invited Gaynor to join us"
Sitting by the door, Hywel tells Sheryl, “I hope you don’t mind, but I invited Gaynor to join us – someone is being cruel to her,” and as Eifion walks in,
"I think that Eifion's involved"
Hywel adds, “I would say that he’s involved.   You know about Gaynor and that photo?   Well, someone has sent a copy to Gaynor.”
Sheryl is scathing about Gaynor
Sheryl is not at all sympathetic;  “It’s crazy, taking a photo in a compromising position – she’s as much to blame as him – more, even!   Remember that photo of the two of you in bed last year – that could have harmed Meilyr!”
One look at Eifion is enough to send her back home
Gaynor comes in, but after seeing Eifion at the bar, soon turns round and leaves again.   Hywel advises Sheryl that Gaynor intends to sue whoever sent the photo.
Looking for evidence in Sam's pockets
At number 10, Kelly goes through Sam’s pockets, looking for evidence, but hearing the front door, runs to hide in the kitchen.
Colin remonstrates with his father . . .
Colin comes in and tells Sam, “I’ve heard about your fiddling at Gaynor’s!   I can’t believe you would put a respected headmistress in that situation!”
. . . and Kelly is disgusted by what she hears
As Kelly looks shocked by what she is hearing, Sam protests, “Gaynor’s too uptight to appreciate it – but Dol’s over the moon!”
"Not Dol as well!"
Colin is taken aback;  “You’ve been doing it at Maes-y-Deri too?   Does Mark know?
"You disconnect it – now!"
“You need to disconnect it – take it out!”   Sam admits that he cannot, and only some bloke who Dai knows can sort it out.
"I'm sure I hung my coat up there!"
Colin drags him off to get the matter put to rights.
Sam's rather cosy bedroom
As soon as they leave, Kelly scampers upstairs, and we have our first sight of Sam’s bedroom, where Kelly starts searching.
Kelly tries to hide
Then she hears someone coming, and lies down behind the bed to hide.    Sam comes in, addressing some Katrina, and Kelly jumps up and confronts him;
"I'm looking for evidence!"
“I’m looking for evidence – you’re up to something!”   He orders her out of his bedroom,
A short-lived stand-off
and after looking him in the eye, she goes.
Sheryl says that the photo contributed to Meilyr's death
Back at their flat, Sheryl is still going on about how the shock of that photo when she was pregnant could have caused the stress which led to Meilyr’s death.
"Is there anything else you want to tell me?"
Hywel insists that she cannot blame Gaynor or anyone else, and asks if there is anything else she wants to tell him.
"Have you sorted those meters out?"
In the Deri, Sam tells Colin that the electricity problems are all solved now, and that he had to pay Dai’s mate again for the Maes-y-Deri job, so that his wallet is now empty.   “It’s all your fault!” he tells Colin, who reminds his father that it was he who broke the law.
"Sorry, Anita, I'm rather busy"
Sam declines Anita’s offer to sit with them, and again Kelly warns her, “He’s not to be trusted!
"He's up to something unwholesome!"
“He is up to something unwholesome with Gaynor, as well as Dol – and Colin’s involved as well.”
"Leave him alone – he makes me happy"
Anita merely tells Kelly to leave Sam alone, as he makes her happy.
"I think I know who sent it . . ."
Hywel goes to see Gaynor and discloses, “I think I know who sent that photo – sometimes people do the wrong thing when they think they’re right.”
". . . I did . . ."
On further prompting, he admits, “It was me!
". . . to teach you a lesson!"
“To teach you a lesson not to let anyone take a photo of you like that again.”
This does not please Gaynor
Gaynor is absolutely furious with him for this, and he explains, “I was repairing Eifion’s computer.”   Gaynor says that she was lonely, and that he is lucky to have a family, company and a future.
"Remember, we lost our baby"
He reminds her that they did lose a baby.
"Have you had a chance to think?"
Tyler asks if Iolo has had a chance to think, but the answer is the same – that Chester should be involved.   Tyler grumbles, “I know you feel sorry for him – and he knows that too – you’re too soft!   He’s taking advantage, just like Mel did – you’re always trying to save people who don’t deserve it!”
"We have problems"
“If you don’t like the person I am, then we have problems,” replies Iolo, who storms off upstairs.
"I did send it, Hywel"
When Hywel gets back to the salon flat, Sheryl admits that she sent the photo to punish Gaynor,
"And I've taken the blame for it"
but Hywel says that he admitted sending it.   “I’m not sure she believed me, but at least she’s not going to sue anyone!” he says, “We all do stupid things.”
"Have you finished the book?"
As she has finished her Memory Book,
They look at the record of Meilyr
they sit down to look at it.
"Sorry, my love, for leaving you so long"
Sam returns to his bedroom, saying, “Sorry, my love, for leaving you so long, but nobody would understand.”   As he unbuckles the strap round a wicker basket, he adds,
"This has to be between you and me . . ."
“This has to be between you and me –
". . . Katrina!"
“come on, you can stretch your body now, Katrina!”
