Iolo has not slept well, and Tyler tells him that is wht he gets for sleeping in the spare room; “If I knew you were such a drama queen, I would never have agreed to marry you!”

Dani arrives and reminds them they have a fitting at ten, demanding why they are not ready. As she urges them, “Snap out of it! This wedding is enough of a headache as it is!”

| A dire emergency in the salon |
Iolo has an urgent call from the salon, where Sheryl has a plumbing emergency.

| "Where is that smell coming from?" |
He arrives there to find an extremely noxious smell permeating the place,

| Iolo is a bit fragile, after the stag night |
which he tracks down to a wrongly plumbed-in toilet – which that plumber from Llanarthur fitted the other week.

| "I didn't interrogate her like you do!" |
Eileen has assembled a mixing bowl and some ingredients for Courtney, and Jim asks why she needs them. “She didn’t say,” Eileen replies, “And I didn’t interrogate her like you – she’s on the way over, so leave her alone.”

When Courtney arrives, she explains that she is making a cake to sell in the café;

| "I'm surprised you have the time!" |
“And Debbie gets to keep the money!” comments Jim, “I’m surprised you have the time, so close to your driving test!”

Courtney tells him, “The driving is fine – no thanks to you! I have a lesson later, with someone sensible.”

She leaves and Eileen remarks that he just cannot help himself.

when Sam enquires what she is doing; she has bought Columbian coffee online, but he insists that Guatemalan coffee is the best.

“What a place – the best coffee I ever had!” he enthuses, “There was this waitress there, she was a stunner!” but then he notices Anita and adds,

“But not a patch on Anita, of course. Why don’t I cook something special tonight? Subanik – a stew from Guatemala.”
Anita is anxious that he does not make a mess of her tidy kitchen, and Kelly leaves to give Dani moral support at the suit fitting.

“Who taught you how to make that stew – that Señorita?” enquires Anita.

| The pipework is all wrong . . . |
Iolo has tracked down the problem, which is that the toilet outflow has been connected to the salon’s main pipe, rather than the soil pipe.

He will have to redo the plumbing and refit the toilet.

Siôn arrives, having been summoned by Iolo as it is a two-man job, and as soon as Iolo has instructed his father to lift the floorboards, he has to hurry off for the suit fitting.

Courtney is practising reversing in the farmyard at Penrhewl, under Eifion’s instruction.

| "I know I'm going to fail!" |
“I’m useless today!” she wails, “Dad has been winding me up! I know I’m going to fail!” Eifion insists that the only problem is the reversing, and she wants him to record, with her phone, what she is doing, so she can see where she goes wrong.

Anita is amazed at the amount of food Sam has purchased; “Are you feeding the whole village?” she asks. He replies that they can freeze any leftovers. She is not keen about the amount of chillies he has bought; “Right, I’ll let you get on with it –

Tyler looks smart in the suit selected for him by Dani,

but when Iolo emerges from the fitting room, he looks rather embarrassed, and indeed Tyler describes his attire as stupid!

“It’s all a joke to you, including the wedding!” rages Iolo and retires to the fitting room.

Dani brings a more conventional suit to him, but he ignores her. She has had enough; “I know it gets too much for you, but you must stop having a ‘hissy fit’ every five minutes! OK, I give up – get married in a bin bag!”

She marches out of the shop, followed by Kelly.

| First Tyler apologises . . . |
Iolo and Tyler sit on the sofa in the shop and reflect upon their situation; “I’m sorry I don’t take you seriously, and I should have talked to you last night, rather than letting you stew,” says Tyler,

and Iolo thinks he has ruined everything, but Tyler replies, “We can’t lose sight of why we’re doing this – not to please Dani or your Dad – we want to spend the rest of our lives together!”
“After I’ve been such a pain in the neck?” queries Iolo, “If I’m this much of a pain after we’re married, divorce me for your own sake!”

As Courtney has another go, Eileen, who has come to collect vegetables from the farm, watches her progress and remarks that she looked confident enough there.

Anita returns to see Sam in the throes of cooking; “Look at the state of the place!” she complains. Sam tastes the stew, pronounces it ‘perfect’ and asks Anita to keep an eye on it while he goes upstairs.

She cannot resist having a taste, which seems fine until the heat from all those chillies kicks in,

and she feels that her mouth is on fire.

Eileen returns home just as Jim has prepared himself a doorstep sandwich;

she is not happy that Courtney is being instructed by Eifion.

“The best of luck to him! She had her chance with me!” replies Jim, but Eileen protests that she felt so embarrassed,

She continues, “I know you’re upset that she doesn’t want lessons from you, but you should offer again – after all, her test is next week! There’s not point in moaning about it afterwards!” Jim now appears to have gone off his sandwich.

When Iolo returns to the salon, Siôn has lifted the last of the boards and is complimented on the good job he has made of it.

Jim goes to visit Courtney, who is making a start on her nut and banana cake; he comments that he will have a slice later, but she answers, “You can buy one in the café! What do you want? I’m busy!”

“I was wondering if you’d like extra driving lessons before your test – I know it didn’t work out last time, but you need all the practice you can get.” She politely declines his offer, as Eifion is teaching her.
“A few more won’t do any harm – don’t be so stubborn!” he says, his temper rising,

but she points out that Eifion is a better instructor, and one who does not shout at her.

“No, because I’m just like Mam, aren’t I!” she snaps, and ignores him as she stirs the cake mixture. Jim turns and storms out of the house.

In his bedroom, Sam enquires, “How are you today, Katrina?” as he fondles his snake. Then he hears a piercing scream,

Downstairs he finds Anita, who squeals, “Mice! Mice in the freezer – in a bag! What do you do with them?

“You don’t eat them, do you? Thank goodness you haven’t cooked them for me!”

She is not in the least placated when he points out that they are regarded as an exotic delicacy in some countries.

Dani and Kelly have adjourned to the Deri, when they are dismayed to see Iolo and Tyler come in.

Once again, Iolo apologises profusely; “I’m really sorry, Dani, after you’ve done so much for us – the way I behaved was terrible!”

Tyler informs her that they have chosen their suits, and Iolo asks if he is forgiven.

Back up in his bedroom, Sam extricates the bag of mice from under his jumper and turns to get the snake (presumably to feed her defrosted mice),

but finds, as we all expected, that she has made a dash for freedom and is nowhere to be seen,
