Chester is still drawing pictures of skulls and guns, and Dani is urging him to go to school. When he has gone,

Dani comments, “He’s in a world of his own these days – hardly talks to anyone,”

| "Stop fussing!" |
but Garry puts it all down to his being a teenager, and urges her to stop fussing.
Siôn is dozing in front of the television;

| "Shall I post this for you?" |
Gwyneth tells him she will post his letter and goes to find a stamp.

| "Hello, what's this?" |
In the drawer she discovers the Court document. “Meet me for lunch in the Deri – a bit of company will do you good,” she suggests,

| Siôn is not keen to do anything |
but he is not keen to listen to everyone complaining.
Colin appears very happy as he works in the shop, and Gaynor tells Eileen,

| "Romeo has bagged his Juliet!" |
“I’d say that Romeo has bagged his Juliet!” Colin is proud that the old Evans charm still works; Gaynor continues, “I think you and Britt are ideally suited,”

| Eileen is not happy |
at which Eileen looks displeased.

| Anita is dismayed to see . . . |
Anita arrives outside the door of Awyr Iach and looks at her phone;

| . . . she has had no reply from Sam |
she has received no reply to her text to Sam, “How did it go with Dol?” She goes inside and finds that Gwyneth and Vicky are overworked, as Dol has not turned up.

| "Dol's gone back to Ponty!" |
Vicky informs Anita, “She got a phone call, and was so upset, she went back to Ponty, so leave us alone, or we’ll never get this finished!”

| "Hey – you've changed the password!" |
Sara starts moaning, as Anita had changed the password, so she could not look at the accounts.

| "Would Siôn help us out?" |
She asks Gwyneth, “Do you think Siôn would look at the Welsh on our new website?” and Gwyneth seems to think he would be delighted.

| "I trust him as much as the rest of his family!" |
Chester has gone to the garage, where he asks Gethin, “I know he’s your boss, but do you really trust Garry?” The reply is that he trusts Garry as much as the rest of his family.

| "I was really traumatised" |
Chester apologises for the incident involving Ffion, giving the excuse, “I was really traumatised and not thinking straight! I do like Ffion.”
Garry comes in and demands what he is doing there;

| "There was a phone call for you yesterday" |
“I forgot to give you a message – someone phoned yesterday.” Garry takes him somewhere more private, as Gethin is working on John Post’s car.

| Eileen arrives to put her oar in |
Eileen goes to Britt’s, on the pretext of delivering her magazine; “Colin didn’t have to say anything – he’s behaving as if he won the lottery!” begins Eileen, “I understand you’re having doubts – does Colin feel the same way?”
Britt maintains that it is nothing serious, and that Colin seemed very happy last night.

Eileen ploughs on, “He does tend to fall head over heels, and you’ve just come out of a relationship, and been through a lot lately – I don’t know how you can cope!”

| . . . Britt becomes more angry . . . |
Britt is becoming rather angry, but Eileen continues, “I do consider myself a close friend to Colin, and don’t want to see him get hurt, especially after that business with Tessa.”

Sensing that Britt is imminently likely to explode, she thinks it advisable make a hasty exit.

| Anita advises that they have plenty of money |
Sara is talking of making an investment, and Anita tells her that the cashflow is healthy.

| "You could see Siôn at lunchtime" |
Gwyneth is meeting Siôn in the Deri at lunchtime and suggests that Sara come to talk to him about the website.

| "Sam was supposed to have a word with Dol" |
Anita reveals to Gwyneth that Sam was supposed to have a word this morning to Dol about their relationship; she is worried that this is why Dol has disappeared. Neither can she get hold of Sam.

| "You don't know his name or number?" |
Garry has taken Chester to the Deri; here he asks, “You don’t remember his name and didn’t get his number?” Chester replies that the caller wanted to talk about a gun, which flustered him.

| Chester asks Garry about guns |
“Have you dealt with guns?” he asks, and Garry denies this emphatically. “Have you not even handled them for someone else? It’s all right if you have – I just have to know the truth!”

| "I don't deal in them – or handle them!" |
Garry insists, “I understand that you’re sensitive after what happened, but you’re being paranoid. I don’t deal in guns – I don’t handle them, and don’t intend to! What happened at the chapel was unfortunate – you were in the wrong place at the wrong time!”

| "No, he's just got a bit of trouble at school" |
Dani walks in and Garry says that Chester has just had a bit of trouble at school. Chester goes, and as he loiters in the doorway of the Deri, he hears Garry tell her,

| "Issues with girls – pathetic, really!" |
“It was just issues with girls – pathetic, really!”

| "Someone has upset you!" |
Dani goes round to see Britt, taking some cakes, and finds her frantically tidying up; “You only do a blitz like this when someone has upset you!” Dani remarks. Britt tells her that Eileen has been over with her wooden spoon, about her relationship with Colin.

| "Ooh – Colin?" |
Dani is surprised to hear about this;

| "I just feel normal" |
Britt tells her, “It just happened – Colin is nice, and makes me laugh – he listens to me. I just feel normal – for the first time in ages, I feel like me. I’d like to find out if it is serious, but how can I with people like Eileen about?”

| "Nothing wrong with Chester, is there?" |
She adds, “There’s nothing wrong with Chester, is there? You only come over when he’s been playing up.” Dani replies it is nothing that Garry cannot handle.

| Sara wants a favour |
Sara meets with disappointment when she mentions to Siôn that she wants a favour; “I just need to check the spelling and grammar – to be honest, I want someone to jazz it up a bit to attract people,” she says.

| "No fee – no work! Get stuffed!" |
Siôn is quite emphatic, “I’m a professional freelance translator – no fee, no work! I have a business to run – I wouldn’t expect a shirt from you, free of charge. People turn to me if they want a favour – but not any more! Go and buy a dictionary – stuff you!”

He gets up and walks out of the Deri.

| Chester gets a sermon from Gaynor |
Gaynor encounters Chester in the alley; “You’ve not been at school today! You may think your future is secure at the garage with Garry, but you need something to fall back on.

| "Qualifications are important, aren't they, Siôn?" |
“Qualifications are important, aren’t they, Siôn?”

| "You're wasting your time!" |
Siôn, who happened to be passing at that moment, gives his considered opinion; “You’re wasting your time with him, after all the trouble he has caused for the school! He’s a liar who won’t take responsibility for anything – you’re better off focusing on Catrin and Aaron – at least there’s hope for them!”

Chester takes out his phone and Googles for, ‘buy gun’.
Sara thinks she might have a word with Hywel, as his Welsh is good; “He might be more helpful.”

| "I know about Dol being upset" |
Then Gwyneth reveals to Vicky that she knows about Dol being upset because of Sam’s relationship with Anita.

| "What are you on about?"" |
“What are you on about?” demands Vicky, so Gwyneth repeats what Anita told her.

| "Britt has started seeing someone!" |
Back at the Deri, Dani informs Garry that Britt has started seeing someone, but when told who it is,

| "Colin Evans? No way!" |
he exclaims, “Colin Evans? No way!”

| "How long have you been having this fling?" |
Vicky marches into Awyr Iach; “And how long have you and Sam been having this fling?” she demands of Anita, “You know how much Dol likes Sam! You’ve made a fool out of her!”

| "He's told Dol he's not interested!" |
Anita explains that Sam has told her that he is not interested.

| "I don't think so – he left at six this morning!" |
Sara interrupts, “I don’t think so – he left for Scotland at six this morning, and won’t be back until tomorrow night.
Britt swaggers into the shop, asking if Colin is there. He can be heard, out in the back room, saying, “I know that velvet voice – how are you today?”

| Britt engineers a confrontation |
He comes in, as Eileen looks disapproving.
“Do you think things are moving too quickly?” Britt enquires, “Eileen does – she came to see me earlier.”

| "I didn't want you to get hurt" |
While Eileen tries to explain she did not want him getting hurt,

| "That's no reason to interfere!" |
Colin is adamant that is no reason to interfere.

| "We should spend more time together!" |
“I think we should spend more time together – perhaps going away for a day – or two days,” continues Britt. Colin realises he has a shift tomorrow. “I’m sure she will be willing to excuse you – as she is so worried about your happiness,” Britt smiles, and Eileen is forced to acquiesce.
“I’m the luckiest man in the world!” enthuses Colin, “The most beautiful girlfriend and the kindest boss in the valley!”

Chester slips unnoticed into the office. Gethin closes up the garage,

and Chester looks around, his gaze finally lighting on a petrol can;

| . . . and find a petrol can, which might come in handy |
he picks it up and smiles.
