"We don't want too many frills"
Sioned and Angela are looking online at dresses, aware that they must not have too many frills, with the mud at Penrhewl.   Ed knocks on the door, unaware that Sioned is there,
"Er . . . I just came to remind you"
and when he sees her, makes up the excuse he is reminding her of the meeting with Siôn later.
"You haven't told her about Dewi?"
When Angela goes into the kitchen, he asks Sioned, “You haven’t told her about Dewi, have you?”
"Don't behave like this tonight"
She denies it and hopes he will not behave this oddly at dinner tonight.
"Tyler should go away more often!"
Colin remarks upon Iolo’s improved mood, suggesting Tyler should go away more often.   Iolo explains,
Colin is amazed at the news
“Maybe he is the reason I’m happy – he’s not too bad, is he?   He can be untidy, and is a bit of an idiot, but I quite like him – perhaps more than like, and I think he feels the same about me.”
"I don't want you getting hurt"
When told that they kissed, Colin wonders if it went any further;  “I don’t want you putting the cart before the horse and getting hurt –
"Good luck to both of you!"
but if you’re happy, good luck to both of you!”
"We should do something special at Bethania"
At Y Felin, Siôn says that he has been thinking about Easter, and that they should do something special at Bethania this year – a different, fresh service on Monday afternoon.
"Something alternative"
“To celebrate the resurrection of your personal life?” replies Gwyneth, “I like that idea – something alternative might reach out to people who don’t usually go to chapel.”   Siôn considers that ‘alternative’ is exactly the right word.
Gwern almost falls over a bag
Gwern comes downstairs and almost falls over one of the bags of Britt’s belongings, and Siôn says he will get her to take them away.
"I'll get some leaflets copied"
As Gwyneth gets Gwern ready for school, she tells Siôn that she will get some leaflets copied;  “We’ve got almost a week – the resurrection only took three days!”
Garry is on the phone
When Britt bursts into Garry’s flat, he is speaking on the phone;  she moans at length about Siôn and Gwyneth.
"I feel like telling the police!"
“I feel like telling the police what he did at Bethania!”
"Not advisable"
Garry advises against this unless she wants to drag him down as well;  she answers, “Maybe I’d get the Deri back!   It’s not fair!   That flat above the chippy is not big enough for four of us.”
Britt harangues Hywel
Hywel comes in, as he has asked Dani for an e-mail address.   Britt is off again, “I’m sure you’ve heard the police have dropped the charges against Ffion.   If you want a juicy item for CwmFM, I’ll speak out against her!”   Hywel points out that it is a sensitive subject,
"No-one's got the guts to tell the truth!"
so she storms out, growling, “You’re all too sensitive, if you ask me!   No-one’s got the guts to tell the truth!”
Here come Chester's mates
At school, Chester see two of his mates coming up the stairs;  one calls,
"Your girlfriend was here yesterday"
“Hey, Monky!   Don’t run away!   Nice to have you back – your girlfriend was here yesterday – the cops have found out the truth!”
"She still has a disciplinary panel"
Chester protests that she still has to face a disciplinary panel, but his friend is unmoved.   “She’ll be OK – there’s no evidence –
"It's all in Chester's head!"
it’s all in Chester’s head!   He’s got a vivid imagination – loser!”
Siôn cannot conduct the service . . .
Siôn explains to Ed and Sioned that he is not authorised to conduct services outside Bethania, and that a registrar will have to conduct the service at Penrhewl.   He agrees to do the blessing,
. . . but Sioned wants a 'religious element'
as Sioned says that Dad and Auntie Marian would want a religious element to the proceedings.
Britt gatecrashes again
Britt interrupts their meeting;  “Good luck with the wedding.   I hope you have more luck than we did –
"I don't know why you want him!"
I don’t know why you want him anywhere near your big day!”   Sioned suggests they talk about the details another time.
When they have left, Britt insists that she was only telling the truth.
"Not everyone is as miserable as you!
“They’re happy together – like Gwyneth and me,” replies Siôn, “Not everyone is as miserable as you!”
Britt starts working on him with her sob story
She goes on, “You don’t know how awful it is in that flat, knowing that you two are are here and half the rooms are empty.   And then Gwyneth brings my stuff and leaves it on the chip shop floor!”
Siôn admits that it does seem unfair, so she gets to the point of her visit;  “You two could go back to Gwyneth’s house – I’m asking  for the children, not for me.   I miss this place terribly!”
"Come to collect your stuff?"
Siôn is feeling sorry for her, but then Gwyneth returns.   “Maybe I don’t have to move all my stuff, do I , Siôn?” Britt whinges.
Gwyneth is particularly forthright
When Siôn mentions the idea of a temporary house swap, Gwyneth announces, “There’s nothing to consider!   Get going – we have things to do!   I’ve tried to be fair, but you throw it back in my face!”   Then Siôn changes his mind and backs Gwyneth’s stance, so Britt storms off.
Bethania's Easter Monday service
Gwyneth shows Siôn the leaflet she has produced;  he is very impressed.   She asks how Britt got in and finds that she still has a key, just like she has to Gwyneth’s.   “We have to put a stop to this, once and for all.   I know she misses her home, but she should have thought of that before leaving you.
"I'll get APD to change the locks"
I’ll get APD to change the locks, within the hour, with a bit of luck!”
Iolo struggles with a school radiator
Iolo is wrestling with a recalcitrant radiator at school when he spots Chester, who tells him,
"They say I'm making it up"
“Mam forced me to come back, but I knew everyone would turn against me!   They say I’m making it up – you believe me, don’t you?”
Iolo is non-committal
When Iolo does not reply, Chester hurries away.
"I'm going to be a bridesmaid"
Angela remarks to Dani in the Deri that she is to be bridesmaid to Sioned,
"You were almost Ed's bride!"
and Dani recalls that Angela almost married Ed once.
"Move on from your colourful past"
Ed comes in for a pint, and Dani tells him, “Marriage will give you a chance to move on from your colourful past!”
"Insignificant and dull, more like"
Ed prefers to think of it rather as insignificant and dull.
"The whole thing makes me sick!"
Angela, with her iPad, calls Courtney to look at dresses;  the reply is, “The whole thing makes me sick!   You shouldn’t let Sioned go ahead with it, under the circumstances.   She doesn’t know you’re deceiving her!
"She thinks you're deteriorating!"
She’s rushing ahead because she thinks you’re deteriorating – can’t you see how sick that it?
"I don't want to go to this stupid dinner!"
I don’t want to go to this stupid dinner!”   Angela simply warns her that by not going, she will only be punishing Sioned
"Why leave them here?"
Siôn and Gwyneth leave some leaflets on the bar at the Deri, and Dani thinks it rather odd be be putting them there;
"Appealing to people who don't go to chapel"
Gwyneth explains they want to appeal to people who do not usually go to chapel.   Hywel agrees to mention it on CwmFM.
Chester comes in, on his way to see Garry;
"Tell your mother we've changed the locks!"
Gwyneth asks if he will give a message to his mother.   “Tell her that her old key to Y Felin won’t work any more – we’ve changed the locks!”   Siôn admonishes her for saying that, but she enquires, “Do you want to have to face Britt?”
"I can't do this any more"
Upstairs, Chester tells Garry, “I can’t do this any more.   I should tell the truth – no-one believes me anyway, and she’d suffer less.   She has to face a disciplinary panel at school.”
"Don't tell anyone the truth!"
He is surprised when Garry tells him, “It’s important that you don’t tell anyone the truth – you have to stick to the story now, more than ever.   I had a word with my solicitor this morning.   If you admit you made it up, you might get thrown out of school, which would break your mother’s heart.
"Your mother could go to prison!"
Ffion could file a libel case against you – she could sue – but as you’re under 18, it wouldn’t be you she sued – it would be your mother, and she could go to prison.   We don’t want that, do we?”   So you’re not telling anyone the truth, are you?”
Chester is regretting this whole thing
Chester shakes his head.
In the Deri, Dani tells Iolo it must be difficult, seeing his father with Gwyneth, but people have to accept all kinds of things in families.
"You wouldn't mind if I went out with Tyler"
Iolo asks her, “So you wouldn’t mind if I went out with Tyler?”
"I think you'll be disappointed"
She laughs, warning him that Tyler does not fancy men.   Iolo grins as he reveals, “Yes he does!”
"'Randy' is the word, if you ask me!"
Colin comes in and asks him, “Getting your future sister-in-law to put in a good word?   ‘Randy’ is the word, if you ask me!”
Sioned wants to travel to the wedding by horse and cart
Over dinner in the shop flat, Sioned suggests that she would like a horse and cart, which would be rather apt for Penrhewl.   Courtney seems very unenthusiastic about the whole thing.   “Ed seems very keen to get married,” comments Angela,
"I like the idea more day by day!"
and he confirms he likes the idea more and more each day.
He also reminds Courtney that her mother was married not long ago, and she responds,
"Penrhewl is nicer!"
“Penrhewl is more ‘real’ than Las Vegas, and nicer I think!”   When her mother starts heaping praise on the happy couple, Courtney has had enough, and says she is going.
Courtney has had nealy enough of this deception
“We’ll discuss the details when you’re in a better mood,” Angela admonishes her, and Courtney walks out.
"Did you know Tyler was gay?"
Dani is sitting disconsolately on the sofa in their flat, when Garry comes to ask what is the matter.   “Did you know Tyler was gay?” she asks, but Garry considers it to be irrelevant.
“Why didn’t he tell me – everyone else seems to know,” she moans.
"People hide things from those closest to them"
“You know how people are,” replies Garry, “They hide things from those closest to them.”
As the wine has run out, Sioned goes down to the shop for another bottle, and meanwhile Ed warns Angela,
"Nothing's going to stop me marrying Sioned!"
“You’re playing a dangerous game!   Nothing’s going to stop me marrying Sioned, especially you.”   When she smiles at him, he continues, “If you have a secret, say it in front of her – you might have a shock – she might already know.”
"When are you free next?"
Angela replies, “The more you prove you’re happy to marry Sioned, the less I believe you!   When are you free next?”   Then Sioned returns and Angela tells her she had better go, as she tires very easily these days.
