The advantages of turning off your iPhone overnight
Ffion is woken by the ringing of her iPhone, and angrily answers, “I’ve had enough of these phone calls!
"Chester, is that you?"
Chester, is that you?   Right, I’m going to talk to your mother first thing in the morning!”
"I can't stop thinking about you!"
Chester replies that it is him;  “I want to hear your voice – I can’t stop thinking about you!”
Ffion tells him, “I can’t do this, Chester – I have to tell Mrs Llywelyn and the police.”   He pleads with her not to do that, then when he hears his mother coming he ends the call.
"You've got school in the morning'
Britt tells him to go to bed as he has school in the morning.   He insists that he is never going back to the school, and under Britt’s questioning,
"She invited me, and kissed me"
admits that he went to Ffion’s flat, insisting that Ffion invited him, and while he was there, she kissed him.
"Is there something going on between you and Ffion?"
“Are you telling me that something is going on between you and Ffion?” demands his mother, and he maintains that they love each other.
Jason and Sara arrive . . .
In the morning, as Sara and Jason are arriving at Awyr Iach
. . . Megan does some fly-posting . . .
and Megan is affixing a Neighbourhood Watch leaflet to the belisha beacon pole,
. . . and Siôn and Gwyneth kiss
Siôn comes out of Gwyneth’s house, and they kiss.   Megan is disgusted.
Sara tells Jason that he must apologise to his mother, so they can move back into Bryntirion, as the hotel is costing a fortune, but he insists, “She should be apologising to us!”
Megan is disgusted
Megan passes them, looking rather preoccupied, and Sara comments, “Interfering in the lives of local sinners!”
Dai again has his weird breakfast
At Bryntirion, Dai is once again preparing his unconventional breakfast, tearing up bread, putting it in a bowl and adding sugar.   Diane says, “I’ve been looking at a website called Cyscyf which helps couples to communicate, when their relationship has broken down.”
Despite Dai’s protests, she advises,
"I've e-mailed for a therapy appointment"
 “I’ve e-mailed for a therapy appointment.”
"You're just missing Jason!"
“You’re just missing Jason – say sorry and things will be back to normal,” suggests Dai, but she wonders how to say sorry to someone who will not speak to her.   She can, however, sort out their relationship.
And just pour tea all over it
Dai continues preparing his breakfast by pouring tea over it from the pot.
"Britt came to see me this morning"
Gaynor arrives at Cysgod y Glyn with the news, “Britt came to see me this morning.   Chester claims you invited him here on Friday night and kissed him – he says you’re in a relationship.”   Gethin describes this as crazy,
"Chester tried to kiss me!"
and Ffion points out that it was Chester who tried to kiss her, and has been harassing her all weekend on the phone.
When Gaynor asks how he knew her phone number, Ffion explains, “He lived here.   You asked me to mentor him!”
"You should have been more careful!"
Gaynor maintains that she should have been more careful after the Elliw business, and advises that this puts the school in a very difficult situation.
"And the police are investigating"
Ffion is to stay at home until Gaynor has spoken to the governors, and the police have finished their investigation.   “I had no choice but to involve them – and they say not to contact Britt or Chester.”
When she has left, Gethin asks why Ffion did not tell him and Gaynor about Chester, so it would not look as if she had anything to hide.   Ffion insists that she has done nothing wrong.
"Can I have a word?"
Megan knocks on the door of number 9, and wants a word with Gwyneth;
"Siôn is an intelligent and cultured man"
“I’m sure I don’t have to reiterate my feelings about you and Siôn.   Siôn is an intelligent and cultured man – you can’t expect him to be happy with someone so different to himself.   Siôn has his good name to consider.   Indecent behaviour, such as kissing in public doesn’t go with that, and his ordination is coming up.”
"We're doing nothing wrong"
Gwyneth angrily stresses that they are doing nothing wrong, but Megan is undeterred;  “He is still married and so are you.   Consider your limits and aim for a man – or woman, in your case – similar to yourself,
"Dragging Siôn down to your level"
rather than dragging Siôn down to your level.”
Gwyneth has had quite enough of this, announcing,
"I shall totally ignore your advice"
“I think it’s time you left!   I’m going to do what’s right – which is totally ignore your advice!”
"I can't discuss the case with you"
Britt comes over to Gaynor in the street to tell her that Chester is to be interviewed by the police – again, but Gaynor is adamant she cannot discuss the case with her.
"This business with Diane has to end!"
Dai has called Jason and Sara to the café;  “This business with Diane has to end – it’s not right you won’t talk to each other.”   Sara agrees, as it is costing a fortune in the hotel, and blames Jason for his over-enthusiastic defence of her.
Apologise to your mother!"
“The place is much too quiet,” continues Dai, “Listen to me – apologise to your mother!”   Jason is only willing to do this when Diane apologises to Sara.   Dai explains his approach over the years;  “Keep quiet, bite your tongue and take the blame.   Let her think she won, then she’ll be happy and go back to her cooking.”
"Go on, Jase!"
Jason detects that Dai is really worried about this, and eventually agrees to apologise.
Ffion leaves with the constabulary
Ffion is getting into a police car, parked outside Cysgod y Glyn, while Gethin watches;
"What's going on here, then?"
Siôn and Gaynor witness what is going on.
"He might have misunderstood"
Siôn goes to see Britt and suggests that Chester might have misunderstood, as he has had a distressing time lately.   But Britt is having none of this;
"Chester is the victim here!"
“Chester has been abused – he’s the victim here!”
DS Davies in the interview room
At the police station, DS Davies begins her interrogation of Ffion.   “A few questions about your relationship with Chester White;  how long have you known him?”
There is no escape from Megan
Megan finds Gwyneth and Siôn in the café, and wants a private word with Siôn.   Gwyneth goes and talks to Sara, who comments,
"I hope I'm not like that when I'm old!"
“I hope I’m not like that when I’m old!”   She tells Gwyneth, “Siôn ought to move in with you, so we could rent Y Felin – everyone would be happy!”
"You must be ashamed"
Megan begins her diatribe, “You must be ashamed you’ve sunk so low – kissing your mistress in public!”   Siôn calmly remarks that his personal life is nothing to do with her.   “She continues, “It’s your choice – either you bring this relationship to an end or I tell the police you stole that money from Bethania!”   Siôn is confident she would not do that,
"I hope I won't have to!"
but she threatens, “I hope I won’t have to!”
Gwyneth has a bright idea
Gwyneth returns and asks him if he wants to end things;  he stresses he does not, so she suggests, “I’ve thought of a way to show her we’re serious – we could move in together.”   Siôn thinks it would be one way of keeping her quiet, and Gwyneth adds, “It makes no sense, you being alone in that big house when we could be together – what do you say?”
"Yes, why not?"
He agrees.
The questions come, thick and fast
DS Davies asks many questions of Ffion;  “How many men have you had a relationship with?   Were they older or younger than you?   How old is your present partner?   Have you not been with older men lately?   Ever have a relationship with a pupil?”
"No!   I would never do that!"
Ffion emphatically denies this last.
"Ffion's been at the police station for hours"
Gethin asks Dan, behind the Deri bar, if Britt is there, then Gaynor comes in, saying she has heard no more from the police.   When Britt arrives, she comments to Gaynor,
"Worried about the school's good name?"
“You’re happy to talk to anyone but me!   I had to sit with Chester when he suffered another session of questions by the police because of one of your teachers!   Worried about the school’s good name, are you?”
"You're an old witch!"
Gethin approaches Britt and comments scathingly, “It’s no wonder you’re on your own – you’re an old witch!”
"Well – look who's here!"
When Dai arrives at Bryntirion with Jason and Sara, Diane is unimpressed;  “If I knew you were coming, I would have gone shopping!”   Jason says that Dai told them that she missed them;
"He didn't say anything about the therapy?"
“He didn’t say anything about the therapy?” enquires Diane, “After what you said about our relationship, I wanted us to go for therapy – there’s something missing between us.”
Looking accusingly at Dai, she says, “You thought having them back would put me off the therapy – he’s afraid of talking about his feelings!”
Dai is becoming rather irate
Dai responds furiously, “I don’t agree with discussing your emotions – it doesn’t work for me!”
"You do seem a bit emotional now!"
Jason points out that he seems a bit emotional now, and asks if he wants to talk about it.
Jason and Diane are reconciled
Jason apologises to his Mam, and she offers, “Clean slate?   And no more talk about moving out?”
"Let's have the garage keys, then!"
Gethin is at work in the garage when Britt arrives and demands the garage keys, announcing that she is sacking him.
"I work for Garry!"
Gethin replies that he works for Garry.   “He won’t want you working for him when he hears what Ffion has done!” she roars.   Then they hear Ffion shouting, and rush outside.
"Chester!   Chester!"
She shouts into the intercom of the chippy flat, “Chester!   Why are you doing this?”
Chester is watching
He sees her from upstairs and comes out.
"I haven't done anything wrong!"
As they face each other, she adds, “I’ve spent hours, answering horrible questions from the police, and I haven’t done anything wrong!”
“You’ve done enough!” snarls Britt, as she leads Chester back to the flat.
Ffion and Gethin head homewards
As some villagers watch, Gethin and Ffion head back towards Cysgod y Glyn.
