"The answer is not to trust anyone!"
Garry is pondering, “I can’t believe Ffion has done this – they say it’s the ones you don’t suspect that abuse.   The answer is not to trust anyone!”
Dani is going to the salon
Dani considers that as her brother is in a relationship with Ffion, she is not going to get involved.
"If you want to talk, just call me, any time"
Chester comes downstairs and Garry agrees that he can stay there and watch some television.
"You would think Dani could support us!"
Britt moans that Dani should show some support for their family, then Gethin comes in and puts down the garage keys on the bar.
"Britt sacked me yesterday!"
“Britt sacked me yesterday!” he announces, and Garry, although worried about the amount of work at the garage, does not countermand her.
"You can't keep employing him!"
“He can’t work for you after what happened!   Your nephew made an accusation against a teacher, and if you carry on employing her partner, it looks as if you don’t believe the accusation,” insists Britt.
I'm afraid this is going to kill her!"
“It’s impossible that Ffion has done this!” protests Gethin, “You know her – I’m afraid this is going to kill her!”
“Good!” snarls Britt.   Gethin asks Chester if this is what he wants,
"Remember how you felt with Moc!"
but Garry reminds him of how he felt when he was accusing Moc of something similar, and no-one believed him.
"What's this about Ffion and Chester?"
Kelly marches into number 7 and wants some details from Tyler about what she has heard, involving Ffion and Chester.
"I'm not supposed to tell you this"
Warning that he is not supposed to be telling her this, he says that it is alleged that they were in a relationship.   Kelly thinks that he is pulling her leg.
“Pupils sometimes make false accusations, but the school has to take them seriously,” he tells her.
"I wouldn't do that to a friend"
Kelly will not put this in the paper, but assures him that there will be someone else who will write about it.
Garry wants justice for the victim
Garry maintains that he wants justice for the victim, Chester, but Dani points out there is more than one victim here.   When asked if she believes Chester,
"I don't know what to believe"
she answers, “I don’t know what to believe.”
"Look at all this stuff for the auction!"
Eileen pays a visit to Debbie, whose flat is piled up with goods for the auction tomorrow.
"I'd like you to cancel it"
“I’m still not happy about this auction – I’d like you to cancel it,” says Eileen, but Debbie is clear that it is too late now.   She thought Eileen would be glad it is going ahead, and it seems as if she does not want Angela to have money for the treatment.
"Auntie Marian gave Angela £50,000!"
“She doesn’t need the money to pay for treatment,” replies Eileen, “Auntie Marian gave Angela £50,000 before she died – that would pay for any treatment!”
Debbie is angry that she had not been told of this;  “Instead of helping Mark, I’ve been spending my time organising an auction for Angela, who’s sitting on a fortune!
"She'll be ashamed when I catch up with her!"
She should be ashamed – when I catch up with her, she will be!”
"What exactly happened on Friday?"
Gethin tells Ffion he has been to see Garry, and asks exactly what happened on Friday.   “Are you accusing me of something?” she snaps,
"You think I'm guilty too?"
“Two minutes with Garry and you think I’m guilty too!”
"If you don't believe me, it's over between us!"
She assures him, “I would never abuse a child!   If you don’t believe me, it’s over between us!”   Gethin picks up his coat and leaves.
Kelly could hardly make it more obvious
Tyler worries, “It scares me how accusations can be made so easily – it affects more than a person’s career.   I’m sure Ffion is innocent.”   Kelly moves closer to him and calls him a good man, but he reminds her, “So is Colin.”
"You're special"
“You’re special,” she says, and leans forward to kiss him, but he shies away.
"What's Kelly doing here?"
Colin comes in, and is surprised to see Kelly there;  she makes a hurried exit, saying, “Thanks for everything.”
"What's she thanking you for?"
Colin wants to know what Tyler was being thanked for.
"She tried it on with me!"
Rather embarrassed, Tyler answers, “She tried it on with me – sorry!   You should say something – she can’t treat you like that!”   Colin tells him that is how Kelly is – seeking attention.
Dani commiserates with Gethin
Gethin sits morosely in the Deri, and Dani is surprised that Britt has not banned him.   He tells her,
He cannot escape from his memories of Moc
“I can’t escape from what happened with Moc – it’s even in my home now.   No-one suspected him at the beginning.”
"What is your heart saying?"
Dani urges him not to let what happened affect his life with Ffion, and asks what his heart is saying.   He says, “She’s innocent, and I’ve really hurt her!”   Dani reassures him that she will keep an eye on Chester, and report any information.   Gethin is relieved, “So you don’t believe him either?”
"Why try it on with Tyler?"
Colin goes to Anita’s and complains to Kelly, “Why try it on with Tyler?   He feels terrible – keeps apologising and saying you’re forceful!”
"I don'twant to spoil my chances with Tyler!"
Kelly likes him and thinks it is time she and Colin split up, as she does not want to spoil her chances with Tyler.
"Why did you start this nonsense?"
Anita is at a loss to know why they started this nonsense in the first place.
Colin is worried about what his father thinks
“I don’t want Dad to think that you’re finishing with me because there’s something wrong with me!” Colin protests.    She concludes that they have to make it convincing, and he admits he is not looking forward to being single again.
"Your mother told me about your little secret!"
Debbie confronts Angela;  “Your mother told me about your little secret – the £50,000 from Auntie Marian!   I neglected Mark to raise money for you – why didn’t you tell me?”
"It was creepy!"
Angela explains that she did not know where the money came from until last week;  “It was creepy – someone giving me money anonymously.   I had another reason – but promise not to tell anyone –
Angela paints a gloomy picture of her prognosis
I’ve been looking into the treatment in America, and found I’m not a suitable case.   Where the aneurysm is located makes it a huge risk, and to tell the truth, I’m not likely to survive the treatment.
"The money will go to Courtney"
Courtney will get the money left over to help her get over her mother’s death – she is my priority now.”
"Right, that's convinced her!"
Debbie is convinced by this convoluted pack of lies, hugs Angela and promises, “I’m going to raise thousands at this auction for my lovely, brave friend!”
Over a drink in the Deri . . .
Sitting rather forlornly in the Deri, Kelly announces,
. . . "I've had enough of Colin's womanising"
“I’m broken-hearted!   I can’t take any more of this, Colin, you’re breaking my heart!”   Colin looks confused, as she goes on, “You and all these women!   I’m just another notch on your bedpost!   I’m not taking any more!”
As she gets up and moves away, Colin is getting the message, and comments, “Well, if that’s what you want.”   Tyler is concerned about him,
"You haven't fooled me!"
but Sam was aware that this relationship was a fake from the start.
“It’s obvious – and I know you’re not gay, but I didn’t say as this way was more fun!”
"You've been making fun of me!"
Colin is rather put out by the fact that his father has been making fun of him for weeks.
"OK after your 'break-up'?"
Tyler sees Kelly by the bar, and asks if she is OK after her ‘break-up’;  she eagerly replies,
"We can get to know each other!"
“It ran its course, and gives us a chance to get to know each other!”   Tyler, however does not want to be a ‘rebound’ and urges her to give herself some time.
"The story of my life!"
She reports this to Anita, who answers that is what she gets for playing games – she ends up with no-one.   “The story of my life,” wails Kelly.
Gethin recounts the effects of his experiences . . .
Back at Cysgod y Glyn, Gethin muses, “When someone abuses you as a child, they take who you are and squeeze it like a cloth – the world never   looks the same again.   It’s affected everything in my life, but the one thing I regret more than anything else is that it made me doubt you of all people.
. . . and Ffion listens
You’re the one thing in my life, apart from Daniel and Arwen, that’s pure.   I’m furious that my past has caused this.”
"I understand.   I love you!"
Ffion understands and restates her love for him;  they embrace.
"I'll be at your side"
Gethin assures her he will be at her side, whatever happens.
"Why do I get myself into situations like this?"
“Why do I always get myself into situations like this?” she pleads, and he tells her it is because she is kind.
"That's why I love you!'
Gethin smiles, “That’s why I love you – although it gets you into trouble!   Whatever happens, I’ll be with you all the way!”
Angela shouts at her mother – again . . .
Eileen calls at Angela’s, to be greeted with, “Come to see if your latest sabotage attempt has worked?   It hasn’t – the auction is going ahead!   You’re the only person I should be able to rely on, and you always let me down!”
. . . and Eileen shouts back
Eileen tells her she was only trying to stop Angela making a mess of everything, but Angela calls it ‘easing her conscience’.
"My conscience is already destroyed!"
“My conscience is already destroyed,” shouts Eileen, “When this comes out, I shall get as much blame as you!”
Angela cites Munchausen by proxy
With a threatening look, Angela tells her, “It won’t come out!   There’s an illness where the sufferer pretends that someone close to them is ill, it’s called Munchausen by proxy.   I’ll tell everyone that you forced me to pretend to have an aneurysm, so people would feel sorry for you.   I think they would believe me – Sioned already believes there’s something wrong with you.
Angela thinks she has Eileen just where she wants her
We’re on the path now, Mam, and we have to take it all the way!   See you at the auction tomorrow!”
Eileen is adamant that she will not be going.
"I'll drag you there if I have to!"
“I’ll drag you there, if I have to!” snarls Angela.
